Kuwabara

It doesn't seem like Kuwabara gets as much respect as other characters like Hiei or Kurama.

I think Kuwabara is funny (albeit slightly creepy at times, LOL) and a pretty good fighter. He's one of my favorite characters in YYH.

Any other Kuwabara fans here?

Well, when I was a kid and watching the series, I wasn't really crazy about Kuwabara. He got on my nerves a lot. Hahaha.
Granted, he is a pretty good fighter and you have to love his spirit sword.

But now that I'm older, he's starting to grow on me. I like the fact that he's tough, but is caring. He's also a very useful character since he can sense spirit energy very easily.
So yes, I'd say that I like him a great deal more than I used to. Although, I do still find him obnoxious at times. XD

I agree with willis, i used to find him really obnoxious. But i think that's partly because of the English voice actor, haha. When i read through the manga i liked him a lot. Once he starts to become more confident in his abilities he definitely starts to shine.

I think the turning point for me hating Kuwabara to starting to like him more was when he refused to back down from Dr. Ichigaki's team in the Dark Tournament. When he knew that the other team had humanity in them and he took their attacks anyway... That just got to me. Thought it was way cool. Turns out it worked, too! They attacked him but not his vital points. from then on I started liking his personality more.
So, kudos to you, Kuwabara! =]

I liked him for his humor in the beginning, and it evolved into an admiration for his character. And he isn't supposed to be highly respected because he's a high school ruffian.
