Wallpaper submissions that are not following the rules?

How exactly do you guys determine which wallpapers go through or not? I was browsing through some new things and some old but the thing that caught my eye was that it's getting to be that more and more approved wallpapers have not been following these rules

*Do not upload an unaltered scan, promotional graphic or cover art, that you have cropped into wallpaper size, it will not be accepted.

[I've seen scans around that have just been re-sized and presto]

*Your submission must have "Animewallpapers.com" somewhere on it, preferably in one of the lower corners, and your username/signature. Your signature must match your username.

^^ Is this even a rule anymore with how often it's not followed??

OK, well 2 of the wallpapers are from the same user, RobinGI. I actually had this discussion a while ago and RobinGI is apparently an old friend of KaitouAce and Mina, so pretty much all of his wallpapers will go through. Also, because he (or she) uploads them to a lot of places; DA, MT, AP, etc, its easier just not to have all that jargon there.

The second wallpaper, I didnt approve, so I personally dont know.

Okay. I was just curious because I started looking at some and noticing a lot didn't really follow the rules stated. But I guess for the person that is a friend of Ace's clears up half of them.

Yeah ... Right ... I saw lots of wallpapers that does'nt follow the rules ... Yet , their wallpapers we're accepted .. Some don't have animewallpapers.com on their picz & the other wallpapers are low in Quality .... how come ?

I do not know which wallpaper you mean, if you wouldnt mind posting them here so I can answer your questions further.

There is actually a back-end system now that lets us watermark wallpapers with the aw.com text in multiple fonts if they weren't originally. The issue is more doing it then anything o_o; its a general thing that walls can be accepted without the aw.com text, not just for specific people, but it is always better if the artist puts the tag on, as it'll match it better then.

It would be better you just do it anyway. You do not want us dumping ugly, big black (or worse, red) text saying Animewallpapers on your wallpapers.
