Speedtest sucks. It doesn't have sufficiently fast servers to cope with my bandwidth, so I only get like 50 Mbps.

I usually get higher speeds from steam (upwards of 80 Mbps). I downloaded Dragon Age: Origins in something like an hour, maybe two. It's 14 Gb.

Don't. 10ms ping means s/he's basically in the same city as the test server, or at least very close. It's more or less unavoidable otherwise.


I ping google's DNS at 30 ms.

I can get pings at around that level on speedtest (and I'm guessing that you (just like me) isn't in a 100MB BB ready area).
