How many windows can you take?

I can do eight windows before it pisses me off.

It varies but I never get irritated with them I just close them and open them as I see fit. (Not much to it)

Depends on how many monitors I'm using and my screen resolution. Since all my favourite PC games are at least half a decade old, I usually have one up in one window (often via windowed mode or mods in windows and WINE under Linux), and then I'll have several IM windows up, a browser with as many tabs as things I'm browsing concurrently (would be a massive amount if not for bookmarks), a media player window if the game music is crap or too repetitive, a dedicated html editor window, a window for torrents, a window for creating/running little things in Python (strictly a hobby) and occasionally a picture editing program. I'm kind of glad I can run some really old games in windows as their tiny default resolutions look horrible stretched full screen (e.g. Planescape Torment which I go back to a lot).

hmm 5 on each workspace in average ... and I use from 3 to 6 workspaces, depending on what I do ... so, a lot.

The reason I use Opera is cause, I can have like 50 tabs open without Opera crashing. Firefox would always used to crash on me when I would have a lot of tabs open.
