How many windows can you take?

How many windows can be open on your computer before you get annoyed by them and have to start closing them out? I usually can't tolerate more than 4 being open at once. It's about the same with in browser tabs too.

Usually I have 3-4 windows tab open.
Same goes for browser tabs.

I usually have 2 windows with 8-11 tabs each. I don't really get annoyed by them because I use all of them.

Windows as in different programs? Mine can only take about 6 programs or 2 if I open PS. With tabs all I know is it's more then 6.

I usually keep my windows to about 8 and tabs to about 10.. Program wise I keep it to 3 programs. Yahoo. Google Chrome. Sometimes photoshop.

On my home connection I usually have trouble running Skype and more than 6 tabs in Chrome.

At my university, I can have Skype, Chrome, downloads, Xbox Live [via usb to ethernet cable], and several other things open without any slowdowns.
[Well, I don't slow down, but other people on my building do....>_>...]

I usually have MSN, Skype, multiple tabs in Firefox, and the occasional Paint Tool SAI and Microsoft Word '07.

30-40 or so if I'm on Linux (because I never close mah xterms). 2-3 on Windows.

since windows 7 puts skype and msn on a tab i can usually have about 6-10 tabs open, and on firefox i can have about 5 tabs up.

Actually, if we're talking windows = different programs then I can take about 7.
3 for Messengers, 2 for system or folder stuff, 1 for Mabinogi, and 2 for browsers. iTunes counts as well, but I have a special setting where Ican just click the buttons on the toolbar and it will do stuff for me.

as long as there is no grouping of windows, i'll manage. with tabs, i'd say around 6.

With browser tabs it can be anywhere between 20 to over 50. With programs around 5 is my norm. Any more and I start closing stuff. Generally I have two web browsers, foobar, browser and then some cpu heavy program such as editing software or a game.
