I was in a great mood one day when I drove by a few kids selling lemonade. When I got home I jogged towards them to buy one.
"I wonder what those kids are raising money for ?" was what I thought.

As for me, I saved money because I would wait for Christmas to spend them all on gifts for almost everyone I know xD Other than that, I don't really remember what I was saving for. Maybe just to have money in case my parents needed some. Like how they would ask to borrow money from me to buy fishies for us and my kitties.

For me to get money I had to do the thing I hated most: doing laundry, and my mom would pay me 150 just to do it because I hate it so much. Even until now if I go home to help do laundry. I save money for important things that I need and whatnot.

Back than, I didn't know what I was saving for. My dad took it and spent it on gambling. I was only 8 or 9 so...don't expect very much. >.>

Me? Save money? That was simply unheard of. But as I got older [in highschool] I started saving money for a plane ticket. It worked too. If anyone gave me cash to buy something and I had any leftover I'd store it away. Earned $400 for a 45min flight. lulz. x.X

I never used to get much birthday or Christmas money but when Chinese New Year rolled around $$$! It was awesome. I would save it all up in this cardboard wine container I found around the house. At one point I had like 1300 bucks (which might as well be a million when you're 12, heh) and just spread it around throughout the year.

I bought so many Yugioh cards that year. Productive.
