This actually happens more frequently than it should. I've heard multiple versions of the same plot over the years. Seriously if my mother ever did that when I was 11 I would've called the cops on her. And what makes her so special that her virginity was worth $10000.... You're completely missing the point in a way I have never managed to see so far. It wasn't that she was anything "special", but that the mother was offering to make a VERY illegal deal with the man, and she wanted her money. It's kind of like supply and demand, just with a pedophile; where else can he get this deal?
