@Moko Chan : Those two individual seasons had totally seperate concepts, but in the same breath, DATA SQUAD was made and aired by Disney; however, SABAN is handling the English dub for DIGIMON FUSION (N.A.)/DIGIMON XROS WARS (Jap.) and will most likely televise it on the Vortexx *ahem, the CW* kids block in 2013. So, I think it'll be a huge difference in dub writers, more than anything. I personally am so psyched, just in general, to see Digimon come back to the states. The subs were cool, but I'm ready for the REAL thing now: an international release! *Excited* C'AMM ONNNN!!!

@Sorushi : Yes. As mentioned before, Digimon is in fact returning to North America and other countries outside of Asia. The whole franchise belongs to SABAN BRANDS now.

The newest series is titled Digimon Fusion (3 new seasons) and will premiere on The CW's VORTEXX kids block sometime in 2013.

This should be under sci-fi anime, as it based on the same premise as Disney's TRON. It is based on the idea that there is a parallel universe consisting of everything computer data. Now while some of the goings on in that universe seem supernatural, the entire existence of that universe is because of technology in our universe. So really it should count as scifi.

You could very well be right.

On another note, I really wish the first official airdates for DIGIMON FUSION (2013) get announced soon, and I hope it premieres in January too. I'm on tenterhooks, waiting for it!

i just finished rewatching the season 1 online. every time they play the theme song i never skip. i sang along haha.

i could never watch a dubbed anime unless i have no choice. especially digimon. they changed the names and stuff. its just weird to me.

Season three is still the best. Go tamers. I especially like how they talk about the earlier seasons as a show.

i agree with you. the first one is the best one. the second is okay i guess. the third one, yeah i can still forgive you. the fourth one, people transform into digimon, is just NO!! and the rest.... i don't know them anymore.

OMG I loved that show when I was in kindergarden!!! I must say that Frontier was the best for me. I mean, who wouldn't want to turn into THE digimon themselves? I know I would!=)

ActuallY is aw seasons 1-5 coming exactly as they did. it made perfect sense in the order of progression. First partners like pokemon, then season 2 which shows what happened to the main cast and brings them into the real world, then making a digimon and merging with it, then just the kids becoming digimon, then a government program to regulate the whole thing and a kid who doesn't need to turn into a digimon to beat them up.

That's where it should have stopped, but they just HAD to keep going... nice boobs in Xros though.

I remember watching the first two seasons of Digimon on Saturday mornings. Such a great, classic show. The second season I didn't care for too much (especially after the phenomenal first season!), but it was still fun to watch. I had a few of the toys too. In fact, I think I still have my old Garurumon figure lying around here somewhere.
