The Summer 'Drought' 2011

so as many already know, summer for video games is considered very 'dry' due to the huge lack of new releases that get pushed back to fall in hopes to stay competitive upcoming the holiday seasons and other various reasons.

In any case, it can be quite a problem for a lot of gamers that find that they have "nothing new to play" for 3-5 months; in which many turn to older, and un-finished games, and take advantage to catch up on games they may have missed the previous year.

How do you plan on spending time during the 'drought' this year?

Red Faction: Armageddon (June 7th) <Skeptical>
Duke Nukem Forever (June 14th)
Alice Returns! (June 14th) /With the first one ported on Xbox/PS3 (June 17th)
Transformers: Dark of the Moon (while I think the prequel was garbage....it was enjoyable for other people)
Record of Agarest: War Zero (June 14th)
Shadows of the Damned
Arcana Hearts 3 (for Xbox 360, PS3v already released)
Catherine (July 26th)
Child of Eden (Looks interesting, might give it a rent)
F.3.A.R (Fear is alright, and Fear is a pretty big title)
Gundam Musou 3
Deus Ex: Human Revolution

And there's a bunch of games out there coming out...so for this year, thread is kinda invalid.

Most games dont have as much hype as the ones released during the holiday season, probably because more money is spent to advertise those that will be released in the holiday seasons. There are a lot of games that will arrive during the summer, its just that they aren't marketed as much. Kaitou got the list pretty much and I cant wait to get Gundam Musou 3, and I might also get infamous as well though not on release date.
