Clever! A very smart idea.

But personally I would rather go with a squirrel.
They are cute, sounds cute, are fluffy and soft AND can get me nuts if and when I am hungry.
Nuts are better then raw fish - I don't like sushi.

My high school biology teacher used to spend 10 minutes in every class to vent out to us his hatred towards squirrels. Apparently, the squirrels in his backyard were destroying his garden plants, and he was almost tempted to buy a rifle to deal with the squirrel infestation. O.O

Currently, there are no albatrosses in my area. They are almost never found in the north Atlantic. =(
Although, a party-crashing albatross ought to be able to provide enough entertainment and comic relief to a serious prom lol

I was unable to go to my high school prom so this is nice.

Never been to a prom, I suppose that it's just like a big party (correct this dude if he's wrong) so I guess I'll go forever alone style for now, then if someone wanna invite me or something they can just feel free to do that :P
