As a fan I demand to know!

One theory of mine is that he actually is ugly as hell, it's only Ayame and her father that has such a horrible taste in men. Because, come on! If he really has such a bishie face, why would you want to hide it from the world? Why? Yeah, that's right... you wouldn't! You would show it to the whole world!!

Because
1) If you are a pervert as Kakashi (need to say more?) - is it bad that girls would jump on you because of your smexiness?
2) If your hot you don't need to pay at Ichiraku Ramen. Saving money is good for you.

If I don't get to see Kakashi's face soon... Im gonna be mad! Really!

He seems to be a clever little ninja that Hatake boy-á. He doesn't seem to be the type that can control alot of different chakra-elements, but still doesn't know how to properly use glue.

He's a ninja not a pirate. If Kakashi had covered up just his right eye it would of been just weird, so in a way...well I dunno how to explain this =_="

Maybe he has a bad breath? But still, since he is after as all a ninja as Ausper said, I don't get why he hasn't uncovered his mouth before. I don't get how a deadly bad breath couldn't be a good ninja weapon.

Then he must be terrible sensitive about it! But maybe you have right. The pic only shows (?) how the scar looks like when he got it the first time. It doesn't show how it looks like after ...

The reasons as to why Kakashi covers his face - both his eye and his nose/mouth - have been explained.

He covered the Sharingan because, being a non-Uchiha, the Sharingan drains his chakra fairly quickly. Thus he only opens his eye when he wants to use it.

He covers his face because of the shame associated with his family, due to his father abandoning a mission to save his team mates. This was explained in the Kakashi Gaiden. With the help of Obito he gets over that shame and becomes proud of his father, but he still continued to war the face-mask, likely out of respect for his father, who also wore one.

Again, it's in the Kakashi Gaiden - between the first and second story arcs. I believe it was volume 27 or 28.

Because he resembles his father he wore it to cover his face - hiding in shame. Once he got over being ashamed of his father, thanks to Obito, he continued to wear it because his father also wore one - a tribute to his father, if you will.
