Alright. I really know this area. I work in a nursing home as a CNA. So,
I obviously know a few things. Haha. Well for one, I am a very protective person
in the first place, an when it comes to my elders at the nursing home, I am very protective!
I love them. I completely adore them. There are the ones that can be rude(on purpose or not),
the sweet ones, the funny ones, the confused ones.. They are all amazing!
I actually have witnessed another CNA being unkind to a resident. I was working with her at the time.
We were walking this lady to the restroom, and she doesnt move as fast as us, obviously. Well the other
girl wanted her to move faster and kept pulling on her to move faster. I told her to just let her walk at her own pace.
She just gave me a dirty look, and waited for a moment while the lady got her feet straightened. But then the
girl began getting impatient again. She began pulling on her, and while I was also on the other side holding her, the girl
almost made the lady fall over. I took the lady by both arms, hugged her to myself to stop her from falling, and told
the other girl to get out of the room because I was not going to let her treat the resident like that. She left and I took
care of the lady by myself. It's not as big as hitting an elderly or anything.. but it was big to me.
Also.. that girl was fired. (:
