    Wink Fatal Frame Anyone?

Fatal Frame is a series I have been a big fan of for almost a year now, I've played both the first and second games and am currently saving up for the third.
This is by far the creepiest horror survival I've ever seen, the only one I've seen strike fear into people who would normally be completely fine playing a horror. Most of the stages are ancient haunted Japanese mansions, and the characters are almost always young girls. You battle ghosts with an old Camera to capture them. This game play may sound hokey, but trust me, its a battle. You will die. The ghosts are terrifying as well, particuarily Sae from the Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (the series's best game as judged by fans, I highly recommend you play this before FF1)
    Sae:

And Lady In Box from the same game, she's pretty much based off Samara.

    Scary stuff

So, anyone already a fan or a fan of some similar series? FF is older, I know, but there are newer titles to the series

I am a huge fan of horror games but I have never played fatal frame but I've always wanted too.
Though scary japanese girls have haunted my dreams since I watched The Ring. -__-
But I have I do have a couple of questions. Is it a long game? and How are the controls? ( because in some horror games the controls aren't that good ).

Controls are fine, characters are a little slow but you don't want to truck through the mansion. The camera angles are odd, its sort of cinematic, like a movie, but you get used to it. Fighting is based on timing rather than aim but its challenging enough. Like, if you've played Ju-On, this is the easiest game to control ever. There are no kicks or jumps its just walk and run and then theres the camera controls.

Length wise, if you're average 9-12 hours, if youre a more advanced player 4-5. Took me 12 to play FF1 and 10 to play FFII WITH some walkthrough help. But the puzzles aren't too difficult to figure out. I would DEFINITELY recommend it and I DO find this game scary, personally Hope that helped!
