I dunno whether this is romantic for you or not, but the best romance anime I've ever seen is Kimi Ni Todoke. I like the way the story goes and it doesn't only center around the romance of the two main characters. It goes around love, friendship and family. How it affects each other. And it's made me cry every time I rewatch those few touching parts. Worth a watch.
