New K-On! Continues in college + high school with characters left there

The April issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the original K-ON! manga will run in two different magazines and cover both college and high school, starting in April. On April 9, the May issue of Manga Time Kirara will resume the manga with Yui and the other characters in their college years. However, the June issue of Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine will also start a version of the K-ON! manga with Azusa, Ui, Jun, and the other characters still in high school on April 28.

For you K-On! fans out there, they are continuing with the series. I guess this is like a test to see which would do better: Continuing with college, or continuing with Ui, Azusa, and Jun in high school and the better one will probably get animated...

We'll see!

I don't think there will be a third season for this, but a movie is already planned, so who knows? Personally, I don't know about reading about them in college, it seems almost against the whole point if they actually have to start acting like adults.

It ended at the same time as the anime did; the anime was timed to end along with it. The manga is going to re-start shortly before this new anime begins, to provide source material...not that any is needed.

Why bother watching it if you hate it so much? :P
