lol I Have never believed one could outgrow anime or videogames there is no such thing as an age that is to old to enjoy either one nor do I consider it weird to do so. I truly believe I will end up as one of the 60 year old men wondering around the game store looking for the latest game.

We should instead be doing mature things like sipping tea, nibbling on shortbread and carping on about how in our days games were all in 2D and anime was all hand drawn and the younger generation doesn't know how good they have it with their 3D graphics and fancy special effects...

The rest of us have moved beyond that and just enjoy things regardless of what age group they are for. I mean shows aimed towards really young children aren't likely to entertain us all of that much, but the show for older children can be great.

Just so everyone knows, I am not VG555 with another account....I am animefreak666 and this is my first account.

I dont know any people in my area thats into anime and my wife hates it..... Need like minded people to discuss with before I go mad. lol.

I'm confused as to how you even married someone who HATES a big part of your life?? I'd never marry someone who hates that I like anime. I don't expect them to like it but I at least expect them to accept it and not nagg me about it o.O

24? Nah, I'm the same age and there is nothing wrong with enjoying something as harmless as anime/ manga. A good decent hobby is what keeps us ticking.
I met an old man (mid-60s I'd say) who was buying some Superman comics. They were for his collection and he'd been a fan for so long. That made me happy because he told me about his grandkids who like reading Naruto and he figured it was the same type of thing.

Well, you are old enough to have other interests. In addition to, not instead of. Anime is created by adults. It has a huge adult audience.

24 is Definitely too old for Anime. Its a kid thing man. Obvisouly you dont want a kids show to interrupt such a big part of your life like your marriage. Man up and just replace all that time watching anime with Sports and working out. You're 24 get out there and be a man.

I would say that it is mind over matter. If you don't make your age matter then you won't mind, or anyone else at that. You are only too old if you want to be. If anime and video games is what you like then other people have to respect that.
As for you wife. Well, if she does not like it then that is fine but you can't push your interests onto her. I'm sure that she has some interests that you are not too fond of.

I'd like to think since i live a active lifestyle consisting of work, school and friends that I deserve some kind of downtime. My downtime consists of gaming and anime. I find I watch my anime in large quantities like I'll go a week without watching any then watch like 10 episodes xD.

I'll be 22 in a week and I watch all types of genres. If it makes you happy or relaxed then by all means, watch away!

In fact, many hold restriction ratings for younger viewers.
