I really like the seeming chaos and clutter in your sigs! It seems there's always something new to find in them.

My main complaint is that sometimes you have a tendency to bury your renders. There seems to be too many effects over them.

I saw these on DA, but I'll comment here, too. For the ones that have the line-splays, (the Vocaloid one and the Lightning one, for example), you might want to watch it with those. I like them, but there's something about them that's off. They throw your flow all over the place. It works the best in the one with the dancer in the green hoodie (love that stock, btw), but I can't pinpoint what makes it look right or wrong. I suppose my advice is exercise caution when using that particular resource.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I think it might be how everything was placed and the angle of the lines that made the perspective look off. I'll be more careful with those in the future though, thanks

Bonjour. I havent really given you criticism before, but your recent sets have gotten my attention. You always use such good lighting and great senses of flow. You have certainly developed a very distinctive style. Now I think you should refine it, and your biggest flaw, the one that I think you should work on over all is contrast. That is, the ratio of light to dark areas.

Your recent B/W tags have a lot going for them, but looking at them individually, they are all covered with about the same overall color tone. There isnt a really big white area, or strong black area in order for me to rest my eyes on while I look at the rest of the tag.

Take the Samus tag for example; there is a very dominant light source, but its off outside of the tag. There arent any shadows being cast by it either. So you lose bit of your overall very strong balance, depth, and focus.

How can you improve on this? Well there's 3 options I always found very useful:

1. Black/White Gradient Map set to Luminosity. This forces all your bright areas to be brighter, and vice versa for your dark spots.
2. New Layer, Apply Image, Filter, Render, Lighting Effects, Omni, Set layer to Luminosity.
3. Same process as 2, but Filter, Other, High Pass at 35. Set layer to Soft Light.

And you can fiddle with those or a Brightness and Contrast layer. But I think that's the only direction I can point you in at this point. I anticipate seeing your results!

One of your best is probably the Halo tag. I also think you really succeed at the human paint looking tags. Those are probably some of the best tags of that style I've seen. It's interesting, the lighting is great, it's smooth and blends well. I think the row of 3 tags with the ladies right above the halo tag is the best row of your tag wall. Keep it up dude.
