It's pretty good so far. Probably the most unique out of the current season anyway.

Merry has a really interesting story behind it; pretty unique IMO. The anime has been staying pretty faithful to the manga so far, with a few noticeable exceptions to those keeping up with recent releases. Too bad it's only got a few more episodes left though, so I'm really hoping for a 2nd Season to tell the most awesome part of the story. ^^

The manga is just starting to heat up with an epic confrontation between our heroes and Pharos. Can't wait to see how this one turns out and to finally learn the truth behind Merry, Yumiji, and Pharos. This one is going to be awesome!

Episode 8 was well, it wasn't bad. I still don't quite get who the girl with the red hair is supposed to be, but we'll find out soon.

A bit shocked with the new dream demon's arrival though. Poor little kid D:

Hrm... given how she's an original character created for the anime, I think there's only one person she could be.

 

You've watched all of the episodes until current, so I'm sure you remember the conversation between Yumeji and John Doe. Everything went according to the manga except for one thing when, at the very end, John Doe mentioned the existence of a particularly dangerous Muma by the name of Mistorteen; or as his nickname goes, the Sea of Trees. Since we have yet to see any other new characters introduced in Merry, there's a high chance that this new girl is Mistorteen's vessel.
