the beginning is noce but you really need to add things here.
my suggestions:
sparkles
some lines, a bar?
text, like the title of the anime or the characters name in pretty letters
some brushes maybe?
or if you think you can do it, a scenery
Hm, yep, it's a bit empty.
For start u can use an image of a landscape (sometihn like a beach would fit in there) and maybe edit it a bit.
Or maybe make a techy bg.
A screencapture (from the game I assume), scenery (in this case waves from a beach, maybe) Something techy, grids, lines, odd shapes that you can think of that might fit.

Still a bit empty, but it's getting there. Keep working it you'll get it good soon. How about adding a really faded image to the background?

A faded image might work, or some streaky effect ^^ Not bad for a first wall :^_^:
on the right shoulder (her left) theres alot of rough edges mabey from the extraction?
the edges that touch the black, and the text, are also jagged, so I would try to work on that. I also don't think the black matches too well because the character himself is mostly softer, lighters colors. It is a good start though!

My third version, I think its a little better.
better better...getting there but not quite..Find a better picture of that guy there enlarge it to fit the empty space there..I think it would look nice..but still I kinda like a horizontal screen would look better..IMO.
i think its pretty good for your first one ! but i would make it simple and just take off the guys name and the little pic of him next to his name ... then its better i think ... and btw ... is it a doll you used for the main image ? or is it drawing of him ? looks neat

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the font and the faded image in the BG..I DON'T like the two black/purple corners....So I'd probably take those out....A lot of people tend to go for the simple walls, I personally XD enjoy looking at the small details in the BG as well as the main image, But you should do what you want for this wall, part of making the wall is making yourself happy. =P The tips just help. I'd probably change the BG slightly, keeping his name(maybe make it a little bigger) and the main image and the faded one in the BG...Add maybe some more colors to the BG? Pay attention to the colors on his clothes for colors to add in. Overall, MUCH MUCH better than MY first wall XD LOL....my first wall wasn't even the right size for a wall.
I agree getting rid of the corners personally I think it reminds me of a packaging rather than a wall but if you were going for that concept I would use colours that goes with his outfit. As for the bg it looks much much better. All I can say is that maybe recolour him just to give him a much smooth look than graininess.. Other than I see a lot of potential that you can do with this wallpaper. Good Start.
