Not all Gundams Are Created Equally.

I created this topic, because there is already a topic on what is your favorite gundam series, but not on your favorite gundam type. Now if you were or if you still are a gundam fan then you know that the gundams change from series to series, from their design to their capabilites. What I want to know is what was your favorite gundam type and why? I'll start, my favorite one would have to be the Wing 0 from the Gundam Wing series, because not only did it look cool, but the pilot could see into the future with it, which would be a HUGE advantage in battle.

Mine is definitely Altron. From the simple color scheme, to the far-extending dragon fangs and twin beam trident, it's just an amazing suit all around.

Favorite Gundam.... I'd have to say GP-02. He's just simply big, overpowering, and menacing. Granted he's not too practical on Earth (Though those thrusters still get him around at a decent speed), a massive shield and a nuke-cannon if more than enough to whoop some butt. Plus like Gato proved as it's pilot, Swordplay can be deadly in the right hands.
Now Favorite Mobile Suit would have to go to the Gouf Custom. Heat whip plus gatling gun and shield combo, not to mention the finger guns.

Crossbone Gundam X-1

I prefer X-1 over the Skull Heart for some reason. The Crossbone Gundam has that cool X-shaped thrusters for better maneuverability. They were cool-looking and kinda unique. Add the nifty anti-beam coating cloak and the numerous close-combat weapons and we got ourselves an awesome pirate-themed Gundam.

Strike Freedom. Its speed and array of weapons make it a powerful Gundam in the right hands. I thought that it could have used the Akatsuki's shield generator generated by its DRAGOON-like units effectively. If Kira hadn't chosen not to kill, Strike Freedom would have been more dangerous on the battlefield than it would have been when Kira prevents himself from killing.

Impulse. Shinn kicked butt in that MS, and his greatest triumph of piloting skill was using the replaceable parts to the maximum during Operation Angel Down.
