These pictures are important to me because they mark a very complicated yet special time in my life. Because of family issues going at home in Ohio during the summer of '09 I was sent down to North Carolina to stay with my sister until things were settled. It was hard at first, me and her husband didn't really get along, I had no friends to hang out with & spent a lot of my time online. Mostly here in the chat room x] But it was the first time I've ever been to the Ocean, or out of Ohio for that matter.

I like it that you edit your photos. I like a lot of your photos, but the one I like is the original picture of under the dock or pier. It looks so trippy, but cool.

You know what I really like about this thread? The pictures are decent, but I loved the affection you put into them. If that makes any sense. As in, they mark a certain period of your life and photography also has this important role.

These are very nice photos. I especially like the one under the pier. Its like a passage way to infinity. And like the poster above me, i love the fact that these photos meen something to you. Id have to say 90% of my pictures hold some emotional value but not nearly enough as these do to you. It adds to the uniqueness of the photos and the quality of them. Which by the way the quality of the photos without sentimental value is outstanding. Good work.
