When did you become, a broken flower?
Twisting round and turning cold?
When did you decide, to change your mind?
Why was your decision, so quick, and bold?
Did you stop to think for a minute
About the rest of the garden?
The weeds had begged for a day off
And eventually, the'd been granted a pardon
The trees had garnered us support,
And abandoned their roots to attend.
The sunflowers had opened, in the cold
That it was summer, they had to pretend
The soil grew sturdy, and vines descended
The nettles, a perimeter around us, defended
Our sky was smiling, your something blue
The time leading up to the hour had flew
Then you left me standing.
A lonely tulip, without his rose
I remember every feeling.
The lows..and.. the lows..
A nettle saw it first
I too was turning brown.
I was dying without you
Couldn't hear a sound.
So here I am
In my final minute
Wondering if it was just a game
Were you in it to win it?
Or did your feelings change
Just like the seasons?
I wonder as I lay here
Slowly, freezing..
