Sometimes we may think we know the answer, but your just unsure of it and when someone answers the question and gets it righ...t you could be like "H-hey! I thought of it first!" but it's the voice, not the thought that counts this time :O

Has a sitution like this happen to you before?

It has happened to me couple of times. Where I thought of the answer but because I am 50% sure and 50% unsure it doesn't make me feel like it could be right. And when someone else answers it correctly I was like "I knew it" xD

Happened in art class back in 6th grade a few times. We'd start off with some philisophical stuff, and when asked what it meant, I'd think I know. Of course someone else answered it. That same person answered them all, everyday >_>

It happened a few other times, but they are random enough for me to not be able to put specifics into them.

Something like this happens to me a lot in my classes at school. >.>
There's this amazingly show-off teacher's pet girl in my class who always tries to suck up to the teacher.. and she sits two seats away from me. In class, when I know the answer to a question, I generally say the answer softly (cause I'm too shy to say it out loud.. haha.), so that not many people can hear me. This girl, STARES at me with wide-as eyes as I say that answer, and then repeats it word-for-word to the teacher.. and I'm like "..._ _+ at least try and do something else in class than strain your ears for my amazing quietness.."

it always happens and i finally got over the frustration of it.

I was using "meh" (the verbal form of a shrug / indifference) on a consistent basis waaaaay before it was used mainstream. Me and my cousin still maintain we were the first ones to use "meh"; we were saying it years before it popped up on that one Simpsons episode.

well I was in class 8th grade when the teacher asked something to the class and I dropped like an idea I had wrote on a peice of paper and someone tryed to say it was theirs I was mad about that

I'm that impulsive I pretty much always answer first.
Yeah, I'm the type that spoils it for those that wait too long and I have both the glory and others crapping on if wrong to show for it.

I normally only answer a question if someone specifically asks me.

Though, I will not accept seeing someone giving blatantly incorrect information. At that point I have to step in and say something. (unless they were purposefully saying the wrong thing to be funny or what not)

It's happens to me from time to time but it never really bothers me, I know I was right and that's good enof for me.
