Load times

Hey, what's up with the recent trend of occasionally having really long (60+ seconds) load times? AF not feeling so hot?

It's normal for me having to click twice or wait 20 seconds, but 60 seconds is a bit much. o_o

I usually always wait 60 sec or more so its normal for me already. And its only AF, no other site does that.

I'm not experiencing that problem. 60 seconds would be a really long time for one page, though.

It's been an intermittent problem. I usually get 2 second load times or so, but sometimes it spikes to 30-60 seconds.

I have the same problem as Eris.
I wonder what's causing it, in chat my screen runs a 550 ping, maybe the forum ping is also very high? One time I had a ping over 9000 in chat, 32000 in fact.

Out of all the forums I go to, this one is the slowest.

@Jakiao: It may be related to the mention or notification system, as a recent thread in misc really seemed to bog down AF by having a metric crapton of mentions in it.

It doesn't even take me a second to load AF but there is does rare times when it does take a few more seconds then it does when it's normal. o.O Also maybe another server can help?
