Nice to see that Kanye West has reached the stage where he can poke fun at his past embarrassments.

The My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy rapper took a playful jab at Britney Spears—and himself—on Friday, sending a tweet to Spears that hearkened back to his infamous "Imma let you finish" interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 Video Music Awards.

In a tweet referring to Spears' chart domination this week with her new single "Hold it Against Me" and the release of "H.A.M.," his own collaboration with Jay-Z, West wrote,

"Yo Britney, I'm really happy for you and I'mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL"

West went on to note that "H.A.M." is "#2 on ITunes...THANK YOU!!!"

As for that Kanye and Taylor thing I see it totally uncalled for. I mean, life has to move on. If Kanye wanted to say worse, it wouldn't be that.

I know he's apologized for the Taylor Swift and George Bush related comments at one point or another but he's been over that for a while now though, "I'm really happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but I got Beyonce on a track!" And he's always been an egocentric person, but that's not going to stop me from liking his music. Besides, this video is funnier anyway:

I have heard a few of Kanye West's songs and I don't mind them. (I was totally unaware that he did this. Not really in touch with the whole music news or global news) He seems like he has a huge ego. (I had a good laugh at the vid btw ) :3
