So, this song: Multiple Vocaloids are stated, and there are clearly multiple Vocaloids singing, but I'm not sure if I should include their roles, as stated.

Side note: Our songs are still appearing on sweets lyrics, wholesale copying and pasting with no crediting. I don't know, I'm getting sorta pissed off at them. >_>

Dear lord, I've been avoiding this song since its first debut, just because its lyrics are so frickin' looooooong.

But first, her name is Yowane Haku.

Let's...just say it's by Multiple Vocaloids, since we don't have a separate Yowane Haku section, AND we shouldn't have to create one because she's just another Hatsune Miku derivative, like Akita Neru. So for the credit, just say "by Yowane Haku, Akita Neru, et al." or something like that, maybe?

Oh and, DOWN WITH SWEETSLYRICS! They are a blatant repeating offender, I've noticed. Not sure if there's anything we should or can do though. And they are not the only stealer, of course. I've seen many individuals stealing my work, but I tend to just let them go simply because I'm too lazy.

Yeah, I'd just write all the characters name in the songs description if it's a multiple vocaloid song and any extra information in the singer/lyricist section.

AND I HATE SWEETLYRICS!!!! I noticed it too! How dare they take our songs without crediting us?! It may only be the transliterations, but we took time out of our own lives to do them and we should be credited!!!!

Oh, you bet! Websites, blogs, Youtubers, Wikias, even doujin writers.
Some of them give proper credit, but others don't, and those are the ones that p!ss me off.

After I completed the Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo game album, I found this Wikia page. Gotta be amazed by their willingness to spend the time and effort to steal, huh?

And If I see one using my Sound Horizon lyrics without giving me credit, that's the only one I'm definitely NOT letting off, lol. They need to understand how much time I spent on those!

But sweetslyrics is definitely the worst I've seen. They steal in quantities, and NEVER credit or link to the original.

@animeyay: Yeah, I saw that. At least they linked to the original page...from what I've seen, anyway. They didn't credit me for the kanji though, which I'm sure I was the first to type out; and that took effort. Sorry, I shoulda known. Slip of the hand. ^^"

Sweetslyrics is the worst I've seen. Everytime something new comes up on our update page, the site admin just goes and copies and pastes. What is worse is...when you search for that song, let's say Feminity Original which we did recently. Our site hardly appears at all.

And while I was searching for that, look what I found. Ah well.

Maybe I'm weird, but the copy-and-paste reposting doesn't bother me unless someone else actually claims that it's their work, or otherwise indicates that they have a claim to it. Like, once a guy reposted one of my translations, uncredited, on his site, which had a Creative Commons license notice on the bottom of every page, which made it look like he was claiming a copyright to my work, and that bothered me. But the rest of it... eh, it's the internet, what are you going to do?

(Mind you, I'm not saying no one else has a right to be annoyed by it. Just throwing in my two cents about how I feel.)

Gendou at least I would let slide since they supply a link to the original page, but I hate people re-using our works for two main reasons:
1) As I said, we took time out of our own lives to do it in the first place
2) It draws attention away from this site when people have posted the same exact lyrics from here. If we wanted to submit it to another site, we would :x

Wouldn't the translations at least be copyrighted to us in some way since it is our wording?

He apologized and changed the page to credit me when I asked. He said he hadn't meant to make it look like the translation was his, but I forget what his excuse was for not crediting to begin with. It was certainly thoughtless, even if not intentionally malicious.

If you watched the video for the song, and know a little about Detective Conan, you'd know it refers to 毛利小五郎 (Mouri Kogorou), who appeared for a second in the video.

Guys, hate to break it to you all but Sweetslyrics is hosted in Romania so we can't do much except send them an email, which is what Kaitou Ace is doing.

If there's any consolation, it's the fact that personally I think real anime fans go to anime-centric sites rather than places where everything's crammed like Sweetslyrics.

but yea, there's no need to put his name in, since he appeared for just one second as a picture...

and yay for taking actions! I hope it'll produce some effect at least, but won't be surprised if we end up beating a dead horse X.X
