Dead Space 2 Preview Thread

So Dead Space 2 is coming out on the 25th of this month.

It takes place 3 years after the original on a densely populated space station, and will also feature multiplayer.

I already have collectors edition reserved and i played the demo tons of times. i also got all my achievables in the first game and ignition. i'm pumped for this. ^_^

I can't wait. I thought the first game was crazy-scary-deathfriendly, so this'll be even better. The E3 reveal last year, and the subsequent info I've been fed through GI makes me excited.

Well I forget which version I pre-ordered but I heard I'm getting the rivet gun or something like that. I destroyed the first game so much that I managed to pass impossible mode with 1 dead. (stupid shooting mini game is hard as crap).

Still need to get plat on the first but the demo has me psyched. I gotta admit I got my face handed to me by those necro kid things the first time around, but the second time I laid them to rest. And ZOMG the javelin!!!! *Drools love juice* *O*

Yep yep. Except pet peeve about the second game is they change the reloading button so that got me stumped. Though I do like the fact that now you view your inventory with the select button. I had to get used to that in the first one. And also I like how you can move freely in Zero-G now. Epicness. And this time Isaac actually talks. D=

Btw, sweet new get up. That silver whatever armor is the awesomeness. Multiplayer doesn't look so epic, but story mode is where its at.

Imma gets it for PS3.

I hope we get to learn more about the necromorphs origin in this one.

If you remember from the first game.. (spoiler warning)

 

you find a scientific document about a new bacteria being discovered that replicated every 60 seconds (as opposed to 20 minutes which is the normal reproductive time lapse for germ propagation) but it was always really fuzzy on just what -was- this bacteria, and how it was introduced to humans.

Dead Space 2 got leaked and by the looks of it, there's one disc solely for Single Player and one for Multi-player. Of course, I am taking about the Xbox 360 version.
