The Anime CURE against depression!

It’s January, it’s cold, it’s dark and the will to do stuff, is amazingly low.

Do you know the feeling?

I’ve just delivered my final paper in college, and have been spending the last 2-3 weeks, throughout the Xmas and New Year hell, doing absolutely nothing! It just seems more attractive to me, to hide myself in my dark little room, in my small yet comfortable bed and just close the world down for a while! Yes, perhaps it is borderline depression!

But in the midst of all this darkness, there still is a little bright outlet, and as corny as this may sound, it is anime. You can call it escape, you can call it geekiness (my gf does), an excuse or whatever, it works!

Spending approx. 8 hours a day watching anime, and being able to invite these simple and yet complex thoughts and stories in my mind, has been wonderful. I am grateful - arrigato!

Killzone 3 comes next month and it`s said that it will have a great multiplayer.

As for anime, I only watch those that air atm, can`t find an anime that interest me enough except those that I watch once a week.

Anime is definitely one of the best outlets for me. Since it is in a whole different world where people's wildest hopes, dreams and wants can happen, it can really make you feel good about yourself. The worst part, is coming back to reality, where the way things are done in Anime, will probably never happen in real life.

Watching anime isn't so much an outlet for me as imagination is.

Most of my imagination is in anime form.

Well, it is important knowing the difference between reality, and the fact that life sometimes is hard, and the make-believe world of anime.. We're sadly not all equipped with super powers or great skills!

It should inspire us though, every hardship can be overcome with hard work!

Its okay to think about the anime world every now and then, but to really wish it would kind of be bad. idk. I don't think I would like things in 2D. ;/
