Aside from my website, if its allright, i will be putting sigs i make here.

I shall try and keep my showcase simple, and keep them all in the first post (most recent to oldest order) to let people know i have updated this thread i'll just make a post saying something like 'new sig at beggining'

Ok liefe, You have some nice looking tags here. Your typography is simple yet effective. You have a whole host if affects going there, (like the motion blur)

I have one big problem with all your tags though, the fact they're all so over contrasted. If it wasn't for that they'd all be pretty nifty.

I don't know what program your using, so i cant really suggest any definitive ways to improves this.

im using photoshop cs4, and im working on that, this sig here was focusing on depth, im hoping it has less of the contrast

Well I'm not sure if it helps with the saturation because your using CS4 but his a post from a while back addressing the same issue with another member.

Right now the latest tag,

• To me this tag on the whole looks a little empty.
• Your focal (image) stands out alot more to me then it should do, and doesn't blend to the background. Which i'm assuming you applied the image on anew layer, used the blur more tool and erased around your focal?
• The text looks like its just been stuck in a convenient space (which is something i'm very guilty of myself)
• You have some nice colour schemes going though (throughout all your tags.)
  
  Things you could improve on.
  
  
• I know i'm no saint but try working on your typography and not just putting text in convenient places.
• Work on blending your image into the background more.
• When trying to make your focal stand out carry out these simple steps
  
  New Layer > Apply Image > Sharpen > Erase the background around the focal > Image > Fade Sharpen (to what you see fit)
  
  New Layer > Apply Image > Blur or Blur More > Erase the background > Fade Blur (again to what you see fit)

Just a notification here, just post your newest signatures in your thread, don't post them in your first post of the thread. This way people will be able to see your development as they browse through your thread. And second, there is a 15 image per post restriction, so it'll be easier if you just post your signatures, instead of saying that you've updated your first post.

Tattster, the background is the render duplicated 3 times, and motion blurred with a c4d added;
as for your suggestion on making my focals stand out, its similar to what i do
new layer>image>apply image> filter>sharpen>sharpen
filter>blur gaussian blue 2 px> edit fade gaussiean blur>change setting
(on one layer)

tx inner, was my first attempt with clipping masks too (made the sig, then it was suggested using clipping mask so i did ) xD



made it at 10 pm with an annoying person teamviewering me, so excuse me if its not as good as previous one xD

Wow. I think you need to drop the saturation or contrast a bit. I'm tired so that might just be me. As for the text, try using a different font for the first word (it looks like you used Arial). But you seem to be going in the right direction so far!

yea thats happening on a couple sites >.< i dont know why! my advice, when it says forbidden go to the address bar, and click it (twice, so its not highlighted) then press enter, works for me =P

Alright, for starters, I am going to that your initial post of tags all look the same to me. But in that way of 'you use the same C4D' or 'you use the same smudging.' You have this odd tendency to just blast colors to their most maximum intensity, and sharpen or blur the tag too much to meet whatever it is your after.

Another thing is how you use the exact same text faces (fonts) in every single tag you've made. A San-Serif font for the main text, and a cartoony looking italicized font for your subtext. You appear to more or less be repeating the same process over and over again with slight variations to the process for every single signature.

Now, there's nothing wrong with that. Everyone does it at one point or another, its probably one of the most annoying habits to just outright stop. So here's what I think you should do. Make a tag, but do it without filters. Then do another tag, but dont use any C4Ds, then another tag, but dont use text.

Honestly, you seem to have all of the basics of signature making done at this point, its all a matter of changing the design every so often that it get unpredictable what you will do next. I judge signatures not on the basis of how well they are designed, but on whether or not I can tell what you did. So keep me guessing, and good luck.

well, as for the smudging bit, ive only just started smuding ^.^, my next sig is gunna be done using mainly smudge effects, for something new; either in that sig, or in the next one, ill be using a wireframe effect, see what i can do with it.

(side note: does anyone have any good renders of death note?? i can only find crappy ones >.< {friend wants desktop background with death note stuffs}
