Though Im going to disagree with you on your analysis.
For one Naruto may be powerful in his own universe but if he existed in the DBZverse then he would be a speck on the world's smallest dust mite compared to Goku's overall strength.

The ninetailed fox may be a powerful creature but even its power has its limits, from what Ive seen Madara has more power than the ninetails seeing as he can control it.

Goku has practically no limits whatsoever, seeing as the saiyin race will keep becoming stronger with each battle they fight and everytime they are on the brink of death.
Also Goku has trained on diffrent planets with far greater gravity, even a low level saiyin can do that, but Goku went further, so far that no human could survive training in that way.

You seem to have missed my point. I didn't say Naruto was strong enough to defeat Goku, I'm saying Goku would concede to Naruto. Naruto would fight to the end of his life, and the 9 tails would further add to this tenacious attitude. So it's not a case of who's stronger, it's a case of asking would Goku be willing to kill a young Ninja, who had this power thrust upon him? The answer, every time would be no.

But you see, why would Goku kill Naruto or the other way around? I am pretty sure this discussion's intention was just talking about a friendly fight about the two protagonists. In a regular fight Goku would win.

Well in regards to a friendly match, yeah Goku would win, because there's no stakes. It wouldn't reflect a real fight between the two, you know, like the ones we watch in the animes when there's something at stake.

Hasn't Naruto already taken control of the Kyuubi's powers already? He's strong enough to not let the kyuubi take over already. In a full out battle to the death, Goku would win. Adding personality traits into this fight is pretty dumb. If that were the case I'm almost sure that the two wouldn't fight and would be friends and eat ramen until they're full. :P Goku would beat him in an eating contest as well. Either way, Goku would beat Naruto. Hah!

I remember a LOOOOOONG time ago there was a Vash vs Spike thread. In just about all cases Vash would tear Spike apart, but if you take his personality into consideration, Vash would just lose on purpose. And the same goes with a lot of strong people with kind personalities.

I mean, hell, if you use personality in this, even I could beat Goku by outsmarting him with some dumb plan involving him collecting the dragon balls to save the world from an unknown evil and only my wish could save it, obviously being a lie, and I wish that Goku be dead. And it would probably work since he's just that dull. Hah!

I know what you're saying, but to have a fight to the death, and then NOT consider the personality of the two characters, is pretty dumb. After all it's personality that makes them decide how far to go in a fight. And with characters that have the compassion level of Goku for instance (if you watch all of dragonball and dragonball z, you see just how much his compassion affects his fighting) it would be incredibly premature to discount that side of the battle. Goku would not kill Naruto. Goku NEEDS that anger issue of 'this is a bad person, who's done bad things' to even call upon most of his power. Yeah, he has untold levels but he says countless times that he is only that strong when he's fighting for his loved ones. It's an interesting factor.

Guess I should concede. Goku could beat Naruto. He wouldn't kill him, but he could beat him. You're right.

I feel that Goku wouldn't kill Naruto for the sake that they'd be on the same team. Why kill someone on your side? Goku fights whatever threatens his life and world. Naruto fights for the same reasons (more or less).
I think they'd get to face each other and then be:
Naruto: "Hey, you're on my side!"
Goku: "Let's go fight real threats"

Naruto would hurt Goku, for sure, and Goku would win. Let's keep in mind that Naruto can recover all of his Sage Chakra by taking back one doppelganger under the fountain he trains at. I mean, Naruto could have limitless energy with this ability. That being said, Goku's special abilities would put an end to it all sooner or later.

:O This is like comparing apples to oranges...Goku is a super powered alien who is clearly over powered, there is no way that any ninja especially a ninja that clearly isn't the strongest of his own village yet could defeat a super powered alien.
