No it doesn't matter anymore.
Where are the wallpapers?
Not many people have been entering.
Could you be more specific? If you really mean "no copied work" in the broadest sense, then you're implying that my wallpaper may only express ideas that I thought of. Which means that I can't use content made by other authors, including "renders", "vectors", brushes and stock images. Many wallpapers on the 'net are derivative works and commonly contain such elements; and while they might be provided as free resources, they nonetheless have to be "copied" in order to exist in other projects.
If I followed this rule literally, you do realise I'd end up up with a meaningless thin strip of pixels for a wallpaper, right? For starters, 1280 pixels wide or 1280 pixels long? Supposedly, a 1280x1024/1280x960/1280x800/1280x720px wallpaper would be acceptable since it would comply with officially-recognised graphics display resolutions, but since you've not specified both the pixel width and height here, I'd rather not potentially waste time producing a wallpaper that might unknowingly fall outside your specified criteria.
You seem to be saying that my wallpaper can be based on any anime, yet your 2nd rule seems to forbid this. Even if my wallpaper merely interprets, reflects or otherwise satirises a referenced anime without actually using any of its contents, it's still nonetheless a derivative work, which makes it a copied work. Since your 2nd rule doesn't attempt to define your terms of "NO COPIED WORK", I really don't feel comfortable about basing my wallpaper on any anime, or any other existing creative work for that matter.
Also:
1. When is the closing date?
2. I don't mean to rude, but at the end of the day, what's in it for me? Do you really expect people to put time and effort into a contest for nothing? Jeez, give me some incentive! To be frank, it's no wonder people aren't interested in your contest when your rules are so loose and potential entrants get nothing out of it.
