Ah, Nicaragua, a land with rich history, one of the most volcanically active countries, and the poorest country in Central America. On my trip there I went through the current capital of Managua, the colonial city of Granada, and the old capital of Leon, as well as the islets around Granada, and Masaya and its volcano.
1. Getting ready to head out in Managua O_o; Breakfast also included eggs and gallo pinto (a mix of beans and rice), some fried plantains, and a type of feta cheese. Every other breakfast I've had in Nicaragua contained those exact same ingredients.
