Kings of Leon - I like some of their songs, but they're not as good as everyone says.
Paramore - She's not a tough chick just because her hair is red, and just because she's hot doesn't mean they're a good band.

Hate is too strong of a word. I strongly disapprove of them, just like I strongly disapprove of any crappy band that is way more famous than it deserves to be and whose fans actually think that it's somehow above all the generic teen crap just because it's a rock band.

Three Days Grace. One of those bands that I cannot ****ing stand. It's boring, anti-climatic, and full of stupid, worthless angst that is about as relevant as any Linkin Park song topic. Disturbed is the same way; while slightly more musically inclined, they still love to make their music boring and overproduced.

Simple Plan, simply because they shouldn't have ever been successful because they sound horrible in theory and in action. A pop band even more dumbed down than the likes of Sum 41, with song topics covering their worthless despair from Junior High - High School, running away from home, dreaming like a tasteless prepubescent boy about holding a girl in their arms, and blaming the rest of the world on being inferior. It's a shame this kind of **** sells.

The Casualties. Even a bigger disgrace to punk than Simple Plan, because they -technically- play punk rock, but they also spend hundreds of dollars spiking their stupid hair, wearing 32 bullet belts at once, ruining perfectly fine leather jackets with paint and BADASS SPIKES, and god knows what else I'm forgetting - probably about 40 pairs of Chinese-made Doc Martens in every ****ing color imaginable. They're boring sellouts who are an absolute disgrace to their genre and SURPRISE SURPRISE, everyone loves them because stupid 15 year old punks will eat up whatever crap a bunch of clowns decked out in str33t punx gear will **** out of the faceless machine.

Insane Clown Posse. This doesn't need much explaining. They're horrible musicians. They're a joke, and I think they know it. Unfortunately, their massive fan-base hasn't caught on yet, and they take themselves more seriously than a 90 year old war veteran takes the Battle of the Bulge. Juggalos. Juggalettes. Ninjas. Whatever the hell else they call themselves, they make themselves look even trashier than they probably were before they got their brand new copy of The Ringmaster.

There's probably more bands I haven't ripped to shreds, but I think you get the point.

Jorge of the Casualties also wore a Che Guevara shirt, I didn't know how to react to that but I wasn't surprised. I like their songs but I understand when people say they're not the best example of punk.

2.) Thank you for taking the time to read my rant. Music is one of those things I get worked up about, and I like *****ing about bands and music that bother me. :P

But yeah, that's pretty typical - a Che Guevera shirt. A common icon for "revolution", even though he was a communist and all da punx would be even more suppressed in a communist society than they are in our "capitalist" society that they can't stop whining about (even though they don't know the first thing about capitalism or politics in general, not to mention they whine about corporatism and think it's the same thing as capitalism).

Green Day, Kings Of Leon, Pretty much all indie bands, the usual suspects (Taylor, Jonas) pretty much anything that makes it big :/

Generally I dislike popular music, stuff like Justin Bieber and Hannah Montana :/ I tend to have a vendetta against mainstream music, the only real exception being Lady Gaga.

Pretty much everything you would find on the generic teenagers iPod. From Disturbed to Green Day to Owl City to Lady Gaga and even those annoying overplayed classic rock songs like Don't Stop Believin'.
I hate the majority of metal aswell. Some of it I can enjoy, like the drone/sludge metal band Jesu.
These J-pop/rock bands are just as bad as American pop music. I don't get it, do people like it just because it's Japanese? I like anime but that doesn't mean I automatically like all the trashy Japanese music.
I don't dislike all Japanese music though, there are quite a few really good anime soundtracks (the Death Note and Haibane Renmei soundtracks being good examples) and experimental bands like Boris and Merzbow are good.

And if you're a metalhead, listen to something actually intellectual like Burzum, Gojira or Mastodon, not some non-sensical screaming and guitar bashing band.

- Avril Lavigne (I really thought she was gonna grow up and make more mature music after her first album. Instead, she just got more and more teenyboppery as time went on. Shame.)
- Most pop-rock, especially if it's sung by a male singer with a really boyish voice. (Somehow pre-American Idiot Green Day are excluded from this, though...) Pop-rock being sung in Japanese by bands wearing crazy, flamboyant outfits does not, IMO, make it any better.

They are (were) called The Shaggs. Apparently they were famous for their obscurity or something like that.. I mean some bands have COVERED their TERRIBLE music.

LOL! The Shaggs were awesome in their total non-musician-ness. Apparently Frank Zappa loved the one album that they made! (It's crazy that they even got to record an album in the first place...) Personally I quite enjoy singing along with 'My Pal Foot Foot' haha.

I remember my guitar teacher showed me this band... They are bad, but that's why they are the BEST BAND THE FACE OF THE EARTH HAS EVER SEEN.
