Lost...

I lost hope in what I believed in,
And now confusion just remains.
I used to be bright but now I'm murky,
I feel darkness flowing in my veins.

I lost my reason to continue my life,
What was the thing I live for?
The person I live for now turns her back,
Now there is no light in my core.

I am forsakened,
I am scorned with wounds that will not heal.
And yet why do I continue searching for the thing called justice?
And why do I search hope to find what's real?

Should I continue waiting or should I just forget?
People call me a fool and they say I'll just regret.
But still I continue my path like nothing's new.
Even when I'm surrounded in darkness, I still wait for you.

its a realy sad poem i know what you mean... i lost my dad when i was 13 years old and i lost hope in everything too... i didn't see any hope in my life but anyway still a great poem it realy touched me
