Also, I *would* be watching EVO, but I'm busy. How is it so far?
The 3rd Strike was so sick. =D And how Viscant won MvC3 with his Phoenix. Oh man, one of those matches was so intense.
Right now, SSIVAE looks pretty badass as well.

What the hell is going on?
Justin didn't win Marvel and Daigo didn't win SSFIV. D=
I'm not sure if this has been brought up, and I have no patience to go through all the posts, but what are some opinions on the Female Shepard model chosen for the collectors edition of Mass Effect 3? I feel she... blonde hair. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Haha Aris is a trip.
And lmao, Kayo.

I'm rewatching how Spark literally whipped the floor with LK in BB's Grand Finals. Major ownage.
Yeah people actually do. I'm a Bioware person, I play all of their games.
Mass Effect is good, so son, you must be high or something. lmao
But I have to admit, Bioware kinda went down the drain ever since EA.
Also, I been playing Arcana Hearts 3. Anyone has it for PS3?
EDIT: I just realized Marida is a girl, lmao. My bad. But yeah, people like ME. lol
Bioware has only made one mistake so far (DA2), and then that game is only bad by Bioware standards. I don't understand where all the Bioware hate is coming from all of the sudden.
Now first let me say that I really like Bioware and have since the day I bought Baldurs Gate. I have also recently gone back and played Mass Effect and Dragon Age Origins to complete everything, and honestly I have more complaints about Mass Effect than I do about Dragon Age 2. A combat system that can't make up it's mind if it's a shooter or an RPG, characters that are bland for a Bioware game, which has always been their best point. And don't even get me started on the Mako tank. GOD DO I HATE THE MAKO! Basically they had a really great story, an awesome setting, and some great dialogue.
Also I went and played Mass Effect 2 and what they heck is up with the AI for your party? On Insanity I spent most of the time fighting solo since they would run out and get shot up. When ME3 comes out they need to have something similar to DA where I can tell a character like Miranda or Moridin to hang back, or have someone know to switch to a sniper rifle when at long range and then an assault rifle at medium without me having to do it for them.
With Dragon Age 2 they tried to: 1. Mainstream the series since many people who liked the more action oriented ME games couldn't get into it. 2. Increase the graphics and style since the console version was vastly inferior to the PC version with the first game. Sadly the game ended up feeling more like an experiment than a real sequel, but I enjoyed it and will pick up and play it again when they are done releasing DLC for it and there's a sale on said DLC.
Next I want to comment on that this is all because of EA. Now I have no love for EA as a company, but that's like blaming Activision for Starcraft being split up into 3 games. Bioware was already going down this road, and they have no one to blame for anything but themselves. Dragon Age 2 is in many ways similar to Jade Empire in it's combat style, except you actually have a party in this game. Also Jade Empire was very linear, followed a set story with very little deviation, and while it had some great characters you could only bring one person with you to fight, or in most cases assist you while you did all the work. And yet Jade Empire is one of Bioware's most beloved games and every year people hope to hear of a sequel.
And for the record I loved Jade Empire. Only game of theirs to allow me to get both girls!
Vanilla Tsundere's thread about anime made me think of what people think are the most underrated/overrated games?
XBox 360 games / PC games.
Most overrated games would have to be stuff like Halo,Call of Duty, World of Warcraft.(not to say overrated means bad, as none of these games are too bad imo)
Most underrated would have to be The Witcher 1 not 2 as it is highly rated, Folklore.
yeah, this is gamer lounge material. *merges*
I have played Folklore and its a good game, mythology and mystery ^-^
As far as overrated games go, I agree with the whole "Call of Duty and Halo" nonsense, don't get me wrong, they may be good as far as shooters are concerned, but there's not much to make shooters seem all that different from each other, have some variety! D:
And for underrated games, I'd say the Shin Megami Tensei series. I mean, sure, Persona has a decent amount of fanbase from what I can tell, but I never see anyone talking about any of the games like Nocturne on the PS2, or Strange Journey on the DS. :/ I love the series, and I say it deserves more credit! D:
It's actually an unusually boring type of shooter, mostly because the limited console controls doesn't allow for any real aiming skill. PC shooters allow you to be a surgeon with your weapon in a completely different way.
I prefer PC style realistic shooters like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that has curved bullet trajectories* and realistic material properties (with a sufficiently powerful gun, you can shoot straight through many obstacles like they were cardboard).
* if you fire into the sky, it's possible for the bullets to rain down on you and kill you.
So Battlefield 3 anyone? On PC, of course. Get out of here console junkies. D:
Crap, so many games to get from October onwards, probably like 10 or 11 and considering I will import typo-0 and XIII-2 as well. >___>
That franchise never sat right with me.
Also, I'm only focusing my want on Human Revolution right now. There is nothing to indicate it will be anything but awesome.
