Well, what can be said? You're a brilliant, handsome, charming man, Mavericker. Who wouldn't smile at you?

Well, if they're Chinese, meaning if they're actually from China, and not their ancestors, then certainly, you must take into account cultural differences.
When dating Chinese women, are there any Chinese customs I should be aware of or would I treat a Chinese woman the way I'd treat any other woman on a date? I am curious-I wouldn't want to do something that would offend her.
It should be noted that this is not limited to Chinese or women.
Ah, yes, the differences! I can't wait! Studying exotic cultures through question and answer is always a magnificent endeavor!
I asked elsewhere, and this is what one person told me:
"Anyway, I'm Chinese-American, and these are the things I don't like:
There! You see! Cultural difference!
- unsanitary conditions like dirty plates in the sink
Though it is common knowledge that most of the world prefers to live in its own filth and excrement, the Chinese way involves a concept called, roughly translated, "sanitation."
Ah! Another distinction!
- you CANNOT wear shoes when you're on the carpet!!! CANNOT
As opposed to elsewhere in the world, where people commonly wear their workboots to bed.
- unshaved/untrimmed facial hair
I got nothin'. Perhaps, though, you should also shave your head and eyebrows and... well, I'm sure you can figure out the rest.
If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing, by God!
Keep in mind, Mavericker, my friend, that all Chinese wear spandex at all times, and that baggy clothes are a sign of social deviance.
That's right; while you must appease their urges to hate everything unlike their culture, you should not be a culture-stalker. Be discreet, cater to the subject of your affections, but never let them think you care too much.
- being TOO much into Asian culture, so much that you look like you have yellow fever
You should also strive to use the descriptor "yellow," as in the quote, as often as possible.
See? They appreciate funny jokes! You'll have to be careful, since you, like I, have been raised to believe that dud gags that hit the intended audience like a dull blow are comedy genius, but I'm sure, with your unparalleled mind, if anyone can make the transition, it's you, Mavericker.
Other than that, we're pretty much the same. You can poke fun at us being Chinese, but only if your joke is funny. If it's a failed joke, you will look racist.
Pampering is good."
Isn't it all so fascinating?
Dirt: There's that "sanitation" angle again- it's an important one!
Others have said they don't like dirt and ignorance, and don't wear black.
Ignorance: They don't like fools, either? Well, there's just no pleasing those people, is there?
Black: Wearing black clothes no doubt makes them think you're a Puritan pilgrim, so avoid that one if you can.
Wear a hat like the Quaker Oats guy instead.
I will be so very pleased if you take any of my advice seriously. Hell, I might even laugh with joy so great as to be uncontrollable.
Is there anything else I should know? :)
