Um, sorry guys. My connection sucks lately. I'm gonna have to be offline for awhile. Until we fix it. Infinita, just say Ardelle gave Aden her number or something... *Teary eyes*

GM NOTE
After much thought, I've decided to open a second character for the Watchers. I understand that it's not a very engaging role (although a Watcher who kicks major hiney would be awesome!) so it's only fair for them to portray more active roles. Right now, please keep it to 2 characters. I'd like to see how it unfolds. If all things go well without problems, then I can allow more characters to be created. Thanks for your patience.
Also, a question. How many here are willing to kill off their characters? Just a little note because when the plot progresses further, it's inevitable to have people die. If you are willing to kill your characters, think about it now. This way, we'll be able to reflect on the possibilities and give them a meaningful (plot-related) death.
Side-note: This question doesn't mean the character is going to die SOON. It can occur much later on. I just wanted to see how many people are willing.
In then end I'm probably gonna have to let Glaiza die in the end though... so I don't know if this counts?
Before I say anything, I'd like some feedback from anyone who is willing to give it on this matter as it concerns Piers, preferably via PM so we don't run off on a tangent right after Sab posed this question. But, to answer Sab's question, yes, I'm willing. Just want some feedback on what is most likely/plausible/believable/best for the story, etc.
And, to Shobu_Shimizu...welcome back!
Honestly, I already know that Dante dies, I'm not to sure about Terra, though.
oh yes forget about my question -.-
I've decided that Ozman will die after teaching Rod everything he knows
EDIT: Hiatus Announcement
*ties ribbon back together*
I'll be gone for another week. Teachers do have the power to schedule papers and tests on a simple whim.
Tah tah~!
...Quote:
Cross, Piers just had a meal with the RP's most dangerous Vagrant, was barraged with insults by a scornful woman, got hit in the head with a giant rock and now you have him scurrying off to God-knows-where. Plus all that happened in the past in-game week. If I was Piers, I'd be dead by now.
You... you not-so-slightly-off-his-rocker sadist...! >.> Doesn't Piers deserve a nice hot bath?
*facepalm*
Noo, not Piers. He has been in it from the begining and also if thast happens....hmm I ask in a private message to sab later, when the time comes.
Also: I just reread over the sign-up thread and read Belone. I was wondering if a human gets sick will the nightmare get sick?
Awesome beans! My suggestion made it through!
I FEEL IMPORTANT! JUST LIKE CANADA DURING WW1!
Okay, why isn't Blue posting? *Sigh*
For the people who are already sure of killing their characters, we can let another character kill the other one through an RP fight. That would be awesome.
@ Rogue Devil : Who would you want killing your character? Perhaps his death can even provide some relationship with that character and give Rod a goal. (Revenge is always a bankable plot driver)
@ janajee : Yep! You already have a definite plan for your character so that's fine.
@ Cross Avantgarde : You are a co-GM and Piers is your only character. Therefore Piers can't die anytime soon! MWAHAHA! Just kidding, dude. But it's highly unlikely if you ask me. I'd like to keep him around if it's all the same
@ Kei : Interesting question. Perhaps we should ask the character's creator? *turns to Shobu*
@ Keisai : I am given the impression that you don't know what to write because you haven't read up? It's not that we're ignoring you, but you should probably take that initiative (a suggestion). You can always PM janajee (the one the camera is taping) and Cross (the one who set up the camera) for an idea what to write about.
@ Rolo : You can PM her. It seems that February is a busy month for most of us. ^^
Anyone else who wants to die? (Ohh.. Suddenly I feel like a Yakuza. Hahaha.)
Sure, that's fine. I don't mind at all.
@Shobu: For making a scary nightmare you deserve a keep that thing away from me pie! It's mixed berry.
*Hands Shobu the pie*
I know that Caisus is going to die.
Okayy.... My activity will be resuming as of now.
(Weird wording FTW)
@ Cross Avantgarde:This is a tad delayed but thanks! Haha ^_^
@ Kei: I would say so since the Nightmares share the same body as their human. Unless I'm wrong? >.>
@ Rogue Devil: XD Oh score! Pie! Thankies Rogue!
My new character is willing and ready to kill someone =D...well. Not willing, xD
Just ask me if you need me to and all shall be set.
@Sab: ROFLMAO! That was so cute!
Oh Sab, good humor must never apologize for itself.
"I have a shovel!" As if bears speak English, wahahah! So this means there's a chance Piers could get knocked out a second time within the span of an hour. Aw man, just too mean, lol!
On the other hand getting knocked out twice in one day might already cause permanent brain damage...
And no problem in calling Cerise a tramp! (In fact, call her a b-... but sadly, we can't.) I've learned not to take things personally and not to create self-inserts. All is right in my part of the world.
On the topic of dying people,
Oh man, you sadists! Now I can't let myself develop attachments to your characters. The denial, anger, bargaining, depression and final acceptance would have been an exhilarating experience. =P
Now if you excuse me...
*scurries back to hiatus*
I'm still here... Just so you know. Just waiting for Riv to post something... but if by the time it reaches nighttime, I'll just post whatever it was as a flashback and let Sean out :)
Hey.. I'm not sure if Aden is going to die. It's to early for me to decide. I can be online as long as I'm at my sister's house for now. So I might be able to post some stuff.
Also, can I make a guardian.
Everyone, I apologize for my absence last weekend. This week, I fear that I will be absent again come Saturday. I realize that my activity in the RP has greatly decreased, for this, I ask for your patience. February is a total biyotch! Hahaha!
Anyway, for anyone who's worried about the RP's apparent decrease in posts, I assure you that a lot of players are just busy this time of the month, waiting for other people to post, waiting for night status, etc.. We'll try our best to see this RP through the end. I have no intention of quitting XD.
i'm just lost
I'm gonna post later. I honestly can't wait to be away from Blue because she never posts.
My suggestion is to never wait. Just post. Post your character thinking. Having a flashback. Enjoying a meal in some restaurant or buying something from a quaint shop. Heck, you can fly to China and back if you want. Duo went and saved a bank like the superhero that he is, dammit. No one can stop you.
Just don't stop posting. Silence kills.
And with that I end my hiatus. *cuts ribbon once again*
@Keisai: You might not have noticed (it was a small note in one of my posts), but since Ikazuchi couldn't get in touch with Piers, he can find out from Jean at HQ that the camera was indeed set up and is functioning across from the Teaberry. You can work off of this info and use it any way you'd like, or you can question people inside the Teaberry directly, where you're bound to come into contact with other players. (Piers was in a dead sprint at the time, and I wasn't sure I could make it believable that he could hear and respond to the radio in such a time).
If anyone else wants to know how they can get back to interacting, I'll be glad to give any advice I can come up with in the context of your individual characters and situations. I agree with Sols that waiting is usually never the best policy, as more chances are passed up than arise while waiting. I think waiting is best justified when waiting on a fellow player or while waiting for some info that is needed to make an accurate post. Even then, if time progresses and you've been stuck with someone, you can write what occurred in the form of a flashback. If you're waiting too long, you can justify leaving as well, and I think the other player will certainly understand. Both of you can make up for the lost interaction relatively easy, in most cases.
Many of you have experienced times in the RPG where things could've easily waned to the point of inactivity, but you got creative and made the RPG better because of it. In actuality, I'm impressed with everyone, and I'm not just throwing out empty compliments. Again, if I can be of any assistance at all, please let me know. I'm sure many others would help as well.
Quick note to the Guardians: If Piers gets inside the Rostov estate, he will cut his radio off as a precaution.
