It's an excellent show. The art/animation is awesome, and I felt that 24 episodes was enough to tell the story. So much happens.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni: It's a horror mystery Anime. There's a lot of blood and action. You might find that the story repeats itself a few times, but to answer your questions, you're going to have to pick up the second season too.

It's great to be able to watch some new LoGH again.

Just got finished w/ Love Hina. I'm watching Pokemon right now, the new series is pretty weird IMO.

Do it, one of my favorite series of all time. The characters are very cool and I definately felt attached to them especially during the episodes set in the past.
