Almost done with testing!
I played around with the color balance, and decided to go with one made from effects only. Neither are that great, but between them i'd have to say I like v2 better. Also:
I'm not sure what I did with this one. I like how it turned out, but I cant remember what I did to make it look like this. I really like this one though, the text needs work. I'll experiment with Text next time, text and blending seem to be my main problems. Happy New Year!
your sigs are nice though be careful of your boarder try using simple ones.
one last thing i would say is to try to blend your render and it will come up beautiful. but looking from your first sig and now, i see that you made many improvements ^__^
Not much this time, just a bit of messing around.
I'm just realizing that I can put textures on them, not sure if it'll help, but it's worth a try. I still need to work on blending, and text. Its just kinda hard to blend them in, I cant think of any way I can blend them besides transparency, or covering them with brushes. Tips on blending are appreciated ^_^
The Bowser one seems a little off, but for the most part it's great.
As for the Mario ones, v2 is probably the best.
If you need help with blending you should try testing again. It's nice to start with the basics because it gives you an idea of what you can create.
For example, instead of trying to blend two characters in the same picture, try blending one character and a simple background (Something with patterns or shapes may go well).
Then experiment with the brightness, exposure, contrast, highlights, transperancy, etc.
Trust me, it'll help a lot.
It's good that you've been testing a lot of things, your sigs have improved amazingly !
Good job, keep up the great work.
I tried a bit of blending in these:
This one looks kinda empty, and it looks close to my Marth one. I'm still trying some blending styles and stuff, so I'll put those up next time.
And then there's these:
I added a texture in v2, not the best sig overall. They both look kinda blurry to me. Also, something else I noticed a few days ago was that I have my brightness turned down on my computer. I doubt that this'll make a big difference, but i'm gonna readjust it when looking at sigs. So let me know if my sigs are too bright or too dim.
The first one is a bit bright, but what I like about it is that you can still see everything, it doesn't cover the outlines of her face, arms, or anything.
So good job.
The texture in v2 doesn't look too bad, but it would match better with the rest of the sig if it had more of a smooth cloudy look, so you can try smearing it if you want.
They don't look too blurry, and the brightness isn't too off.
I looked at a few tutorials, and came up with these:
Its pretty hard to pick a color for Ganondorf, I chose Purple. (purple just seems like a Ganondorf kinda color) v2 has a lighter purpleish tinge to it, and v3 had a few lighter spots, and a small glow around Ganondorf. I'm just now noticing, something looks wrong with his arm. It looks odd, maybe its just me. and as far as text, it looks kinda plain. I'll probably try again later. Ð:
New sigs! Wooo:
I like this one, nothing too bad about it. It's kinda plain though.
I made a few of these.
I like Marth A v1, and Bv1. I dont really like A v2, my bro thought I should put it in here though, so there it is. And B v2 just looks odd for some reason. I threw it in there anyway though. I still haven't got the hang of blending -_-; I'll keep working on it. Also, I change my name a lot, but its always me who posts in here. Sorry if I confused you.
You're getting a little bit better, but you should stop using an excessive amount of C4Ds to make a background.
Try something new, and I'm sure you'll get interesting results.
Also, like you did with Marth, make sure to try to centralize your focuses.
Here are a few tutorials that I have selected for you to try out yourself.
Give them a try, and I'm sure you will learn a lot.
I think I get what you mean with the C4D's, I usually take a few of those and a gradient and mix them together. I followed the tutorials, and came up with these two:

Also, I kinda like my renders to be off to the side (Like in the peach one) and not too centered. If I had to choose, I'd have to say I like the Ice Mario one better.
Personally, I don't think the Ice Mario tag is that bad at all, and it's not THAT sharp.
You might want to bring in the text closer to Mario and make the tag less wider.
And even if you might like your extracts to be on the side, the focus of the signature will be lost.
You put your text in one corner, and them your extract in the other side.
What you're basically doing is dividing the whole tag into two.
It really may be something small, but small as it is, you need to learn how to make a tag as a whole.
You may not exactly understand what I mean, but putting your extracts way off to the said like that isn't necessarily all that great.
Although I will say once more, the Ice Mario tag does look pretty good.
I tried again, this time I mixed the tutorials up, and added a bit of my own style in it:
v2 has a brighter glow, and slightly improved text. It's pretty bright. x_x But, I'm finally getting the hang of the text blending. And this is my second sig without using C4D in it. =o
Two new sigs:
-The only thing I don't like abut it is the Text. =/
V2 is greener, ans the text looks shinier. I just noticed...they're off-center. D:
They don't always have to be in the center. Also, just a bit of advice. Don't use too many tutorials, your style might end up like a bunch of other people(In my opinion it's fun to be unique with a certain style you learn on your own).
Putting the text all the way in the corners isn't really a smart idea either. Keep it in with the flow of everything else(I'm referring to the Peach Tag). Then again, it really depends on the sig as well.
Other then that, the two newer tags are pretty good. Although I will say that the Link one is a bit over-contrasted on the render. Just my opinion. =p
That is all.
Oh yeah, tone down the Super Mushroom one. T_T It's really... really bright.
After looking at most of your sigs, I have to say that I have an appreciation for the effects that you use, and you have the potential to make some awesome signatures.
However, some things I noticed, that could make your signatures a whole lot better; the text. It doesn't blend with the signatures at all, a common problem for newbies who get into gfx. Try using simple text, like verdana or lucidian, and try to fit it with the theme. If you're making a techy sig, use a blocky text, if you're making a grungy sig, use thick text, a classy sig, use a script text, etc... and try to improve your text placement as well. I find that text close to the stock is best. Why? Because it helps draw your eye to the focal point, which is the stock. Some people would mistake having 'balance' in a signature as being put the stock on one side and the text on the other, which essentially is a cheat and sometimes works well, however with these types of signatures that you're making, that are so busy in the background on both sides, it just seems like too much.
Also, and I think this will really help you, try using bigger stock. Some of your sigs look great with the small stock, like your latest ones. But not most of the others, and this is because with your uniformed bg style, having the small images leaves wayyyy too much neg space in the signatures. Also, some of your stock placement is off.
Try working your brushes around your stock, and then branching off from there.
I really do like your Mario signature with the swirl around his body, that's amazing! I do think that your text placement is your major problem though. If I were you I would really take that into consideration, because that's the first thing that I noticed about your signatures. They'd be on a whole different level with some better text skills ^_^
Keep going though, you've got some skill here!
Just different borders on the Samus ones.
Again, my main problem is text. None of these were supposed to actually turn out like this. Only 1 c4d in both, the rest were brushes and stuff. I didn't really try on either of these, but I still like them a lot. My wolf one isn't very well blended though...
I see you're taking a love for Nintendo. I like you sigs, you manage to make you characters blend in with the colors.
They don't have to be right dead smack in the center.

The point is to try to do something different and create a better focus.
The Luigi signature is probably the best one you've made so far.
The other two have too much effects on them.
Nonetheless you are improving a lot.
Hope to see more of what you can bring.
I forgot to upload two of them. :x
I don't know what I was thinking when I made v2. It reminds me of his black outfit in Brawl though. And once again, Text. I'll get the hang of it eventually, but probably not anytime soon D:.
Way too much going on. The focal have almost disappeared and the signature has no depth. You got the flow right though.
That was kinda what I was trying to do, but he wasn't supposed to be hidden. It was more of a test than anything, I wanted to test out different flow directions, although, I will admit He is hidden fairly well D:. I was planning on making it flow against him, but it didn't look right. Right now i'm trying to find other things to do to my sigs to make them look a bit different, and I'm still trying to figure out what I did to my Mario sig. Any tips?

I hate to do this, but triple post. -_-; ugh.
I have quite a few new ones this time:
I like v2 best, but I realized they are all quite bright. D: They didn't look this bright when I was on Photoshop, other than that I love them. I'll probably go back and tone them down a bit later. :x
I tried mixing a different style in those two. not that great D:. I forgot what I did different in v1, and v2...
Those two are the result of extreme boredom. I added a blue overlay to v2, because it looked a bit too plain originally. Those two aren't serious sigs, but I decided to put them on here anyway. I hope I don't have to Triple post again D:
Okay, v3 for Peach is WAY cute.
I think there's a little too much effects in the Samus one, it's a little distracting, but I think it turned out good.
The blue DS sig looks really nice.
Just checking up on the progress, wow you've improved I can tell by the looks. I like the DS V2 it's really nice.
My advice is go through the adjustment layers, and adding gradients and Photofilters.
Add depth to it too, use the burn tool to add depth.
Most of all blend it in with the flow. ;)
Plus, mess around with the text too as well :D
