Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
i found out when i was going through chemo therapy that i'm allergic to two drugs, compozine and reglen. i can't remember what they were shooting into my central port for, but - well you know restless leg syndrome, where you can't stop readjusting your legs at night? when i got those drugs i felt that way all over my body, and i spent 2 hours just pacing my room and occassionally get a spasm.

Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
I tend to be resistant to most meds for the more common illnesses I find, especially for allergies, nothing really seems to work so I have to suffer through that.

Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
My new roommate has the same first and last name as I do. Time to get her a nickname, 'cause there can only be ONE with that name.

When I'm not ordering from Little Caesar's, I would get this pizza from here: http://www.papamurphys.com/OurMenu/O.../5-MeatStuffed. Most favorite pizza ever.

Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
SMITH AND WESSON, TEN MILLIMETER, MODEL TEN SEVENTY-SIX, ALL STAINLESS STEEL!
Would be nice if The Bureau did go back to Tens. Guess it's saving that they still have the MP5/10s in inventory.
Anyway, Cherry Pies.
Cherry Pies and Coffee.
Coffee. Damn fine Coffee.

Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
i just got a little history lesson on the 1076. apparently the FBI deemed the 9mm inneffective and began field testing the 10mm round in Browing Hi-Powers and 1911's, eventually developing a "lite-load" 10mm and adopting the 1076, although its career was only 5 years long, after which the FBI switched to a Glock model.
also, i was never aware that hk developed a 10mm mp5. pretty f'ing cool, man, although in modern times i'd opt for a Kriss Super V in .45 acp. the Kriss ought to phase out all use of mp5's.
sorry to hijack the thread with gun talk ^_^"

Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
Was waiting for you to take the bait. Good catch.
If T.D.I. comes out with a 10mm model, I'd literally go insane. Not much makes me physically writhe so.
Next on the agenda: Sunflower Seeds.

Re: Say Unexpected Things V10 Yo.
my first paycheck for 33 hours of work was $117.50. 117 is what i'd get if i made 3 dollars an hour (more or less). something's up here, i'll have to talk to my bossman. even considering taxes, this is way too low.
EDIT: i'm sure that eventually TDI will release the Super V in all sorts of small calibers, it just needs to be tested more and actually adopted as standard issue somewheres. although i'd stick with .45 - there's nothing like having the same potential power as a tommy gun in your hands, in a much smaller and more modern package.
if you'd like to continue this, let's do it in the appropriate thread - i doubt if anyone besides us in this thread is much interested in the potential for the Kriss to come out in .40 lol

Much rather have a sniper rifle and pick off my targets from afar rather than get up close and personal

yeah, but what do you do when your targets overrun your position and you need a close-range weapon to fend them off?
i watched a television program on snipers (Snipers: Bulletproof i believewas the title) and saw this happen to a sniper in nam. he was trying to get to his embattled platoon about 100 yards away from his position when 4 viet cong or nva (cant remember which) walked up on him. we was carrying a 1911 and a .38 revolver. he dropped his rifle and pulled both - he killed 2 of the soldiers and the others were so intimidated by his firepower that theyran off, even though heran out of ammunition.
moral ofthe story: carry a powerful sidearm, especially if you're a sniper.

If you are a sniper you pick a good vantage spot and conceal yourself well, making sure you lay traps nearby which can alert you to any enemy patrols coming near to your position so that you can make a quick getaway. That's what I do in splinter cell anyway hahaha
