Hahahah, arn't they? xD Last time I watched the movie I always became a little extra happy everytime they showed up. I mean, the movie itself isn't the best one around, but the slugs makes it all worth it anyway. ;) Those high pitched voices and their singing when it's supposed the be a serious moment... lol.
Gotta love those slugs.

Nope.jpg
Bulletproof, lynchproof, deathproof(combination of both) and abilityproof are legit roles and worked perfectly.

Bulletproof roles are a standard in essentially every mafia game; some roles belong to both mafia and town (as they did in this game). Not broken in the slightest.
Also, you do realize being AP (ability proof) has its downsides, correct?
Investigations will fail on you, and protections from super kills will also fail on you. This could render a lot of one-shot pro-town abilities useless if used on someone AP.

Basically this. Scruffy missed a lot of goodies because of that fact. Just saiyan

I dont recall anyone in our group being bullet proof. And sure, a character might not get good actions, but it also stops bad actions like the scroll. Not to mention super kills, at least for the wolves, werent every night. I think it was once every 4 nights, which makes it ridiculously difficult to kill someone off. PLUS theres the risk of the super killer being taken out first, like it was for us, and then we're just s.o.l, since the town apparently didnt give a crap they were allowing an indie to stay alive

Then you should've payed attention. Aku no Hikari/Furore was bulletproof, and not only that, but he was also a protector of your faction, so he could've choose to protect any of you if you were gonna be attacked by RyuTama/Scruffy&Kaitou+/or the NF Duo. Also, it was every 3 night phases as well, not 4 which is a total different case.

Your Godfather, Aku no Hikari, was bulletproof. Not only that, but he even gave protection to your entire mafia. Lol.
Again, I never said that being AP was completely disadvantageous, but there are pros and cons to being AP. If I had been investigated and it failed, well, that would almost certainly make me appear as scum to the investigator.
Finally, why would town eliminate an independent when they don't need to in order to win?

Youre right, I didnt, because I was tired of dealing with a broken game and having half my stuff ignored in both here and QT, not to mention that the people with the more powerful roles were very inactive players.

Because it said right there on the first page, which I pointed out a *few* times that the winning conditions for the town were to kill all mafia AND indies?

Half? That was the only action I missed was the one from Monday, I haven't missed a single action since then. O_o;;
Also to correct you, it said "any indies trying to take you down" not any indie in general. I realize there's was no bad indie, but that was to throw you guys off. Many hosts do it, deal with it.
Sorry the game wasn't as easy for you, because the easier, the funner.

I made like...3 actions, the one you missed for a whole 4 hours.
And no, easier ≠ funner, but "well gee....looks like we should just be picked off" isnt fun at all. You broke your own rules by allowing incorrect votes when it wouldve made a huge difference in the lynching, decided to punish Aleyna when others got to squeek away with rule breaking, and seemed to ignore the QT when you told us to just go ahead and give you our actions there.
Several people came back to play just to say they were going to quit again, not to mention a few people who have consistently played in the last several games have decided to quit playing as well. I think that alone should say a lot

I meant the one action. Yes, I did but it would be the smart thing to also PM it if I'm away? Also, I had three QT to check and lots of PMs, it's easily to miss a message over QT. @Scruffy knows this.
You know what's funny? Aleyna was one of the people who voted incorrectly as well, so pretty much I let her off the hook as well with that rule so I was fair to pretty much everyone about how the game went down and gave equal punishment after I made it clearly I was gonna be a lot more strict with the rules.
People decide to take the game to heart. That sadly is not the host's or the player's fault at all.

Who else broke the rules? When?
As far as I'm concerned, Chris was lenient with the no-editing rule in the beginning, but he enforced the rule after a certain time. No one did it again until Aleyna.

About?
EDIT: I stand corrected on the voting issue, but I didn't see any voting issues past either Day 3 or 4.

Re: Wolf XVII: Anime Forum Chronicles
And if someone didnt read where he decided to be 'srs bsniss'? As for Alyenas incorrect vote, then that too shouldnt have been counted. If you set rules you either keep strict about them or you dont bother and stay lax with them. Its unfair when someone misses the "OK GAIZ, FOR REALZ NOW~" because its buried in 5 pages of stuff.
And if you know there could be a chance you'll miss the QT, then dont suggest posting everything there, use a system you -know- you wont miss, like the pms
As for what it says, it says the game wasnt enjoyable if it causes a good handful of people to say their wiping their hands of future games. You tried something new, kudos, but instead of arguing why certain roles are/arent broken or why rules we/werent enforced, etc, etc, etc, perhaps that time could be used to figure out a way to make it more enjoyable in the future for everyone. Take what people are saying into consideration, listen to what the players -want- instead of what you feel is the "right way". Compromise instead of double teaming on someone whose trying to point out what they felt were issues that need to be taken care of, though Im sure nothing I say will matter in the end. Either way, Im done. Congrats to the winners [no idea who even won] and hope you guys have fun in future games

Re: Wolf XVII: Anime Forum Chronicles
Honestly, from my personal point of view, I do believe this game was kinda broken, too, not because of the roles themselves, but rather because of the extreme inactivity and laziness of many players. Sure, Scruffy knew everyone's roles, but ideally, each player was supposed to head their own investigation and come up with their own list of suspects instead of merely bandwagoning with just one or two "good" players. I was kinda annoyed, too, in the middle of the game, when most of the active players were the Wolves, while most Townies totally ignored everything, and only came out to vote near the end of the phase for dumb reasons such as "that's the first name that came into my mind" or "'cause I feel like it".
I do agree with @MaruDashi that the way it worked out made the game imbalanced for the Wolves, but the host should not take the blame for it, since if everyone played the way they were supposed to, Scruffy probably wouldn't have that easy of a time persuading others to follow his lead.

Re: Wolf XVII: Anime Forum Chronicles
@MaruDashi
Just because you didn't care for the way Kaitou hosted it, doesn't mean you won't like any of the other games hosted by someone else. He'll host his own way... he's not forcing everyone else to do so. I personally liked it; a lot more in-depth than the ones I've been in, and it involves all the players, instead of having 10+ "generic" roles with no abilities. =x
But yeah. I don't see why you'd stop playing all Wolf games simply because you didn't care for this one. o-o
