Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.
While I in no way condone this man's action, I do think marriage should be something worth a little more trust than this. If she had told him the truth before their marriage, I think their marriage would still have worked out. What got him was probably the shock and anger he received after months/years of frustration and disbelief, not the fact itself that she had had plastic surgery.

I do agree that it might have been wise of the woman to have told the man of her surgery prior to marriage; for it might have been easier for him to have come to terms with the revelation, and at least she would have known then and there if the man had some genuine feelings for her. All the same, I don't feel that it was deceptive of her not to tell him--but yes, perhaps unwise in the sense that less damage would have been done to them both had she told him in the first instance.
As for the marriage itself, well it might have "worked" then after, but more in practical sort of way since the man is shallow. Come to think of it, most existing marriages are practical arrangements, and with those it seems that true and deep love is something of an afterthought.

Thats not what I mean. We all know that woman had some SEVERE plastic surgery going on.
What you are saying now is that everyone with the most minimal nose-job could be sued.
Don't we all know thats a bit weird, and also NOT what I meant. And you know it.
Of course I mean those who had EXTREME make-overs. Not just some pretty gal with a boob-job.

No-one should be sued over plastic surgery, no matter how extreme the case. I never understood why people got upset over something that someone else does to their body.

Well, learning something new everyday. This is how you make the best of stupid situations. XD Idiot sues wife for being ugly prior to their marriage, I learn more about the Chinese Legal System.
Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.
well, crazy stuff happens in the world everyday so i think to some twisted extent, it is legit. things happen, and even stupid things so i think it is.
but i do feel bad that he is also robbing that poor little girl of her future. there are some people who grow up to be much more beautiful. i knew a girl in high school who was a plain jane and a tom boy. now she's a professional model. i think in the long run, the husband will really regret his decision.
as for being punished for being dishonest in south korea, dont chicks get plastic surgery all the time there?

Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.
for some reason, i just watched the episode of south park where kyle learns he is the ugliest boy in class and abraham lincoln tries to teach him a lesson. i think this husband needs that abraham lincoln lesson as well and it ends where he calls him a f###king @$$hole
Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.

Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.
Hmm...IDK about you guys, but I've always found ALL newborn babies to be ugly. Like little shrunken monkeys. And I have to pretend how precious and beautiful it is.
Toddlers can be adorable though. I used to have to do experiments with them at my old job.
Seriously, I don't make a good female when it comes to babies and things.

True, you don't, but people tend to get pissed off and shove said monkey-slug into your face even more going "See? SEE!?" Giving a couple disingenuous compliments makes the experience go faster as they will leave you alone faster. You're not female--you have no clue how much people expect you to LOOOOOOVE babies simply due to the fact that you have two X chromosomes. Aaaand you don't have to listen to female friends get the baby rabies. Ewww.
Ugh. Never having children, ever.

Yeah, I worked in a laboratory that studied the brains of children who stuttered. So we asked them questions, scanned their brains, and got beautiful, beautiful data. Children's brains are so interesting to study! Learning how the neural circuitry changes as a child becomes an adult is fascinating...not the children themselves.

Have to disagree with you there, my cousin had a kid, thing looks like one of those demon babies in horror movies (seriously, it's actually frightening).
Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.
The article claims the story is unconfirmed and may be just a hoax.
Re: Man sues wife for being ugly and wins.
What a douche, I don't mind if a woman wants to change her appearance, if it makes her happy and builds her self esteem go for it. As long as it doesn't turn into a night mare going horribly wrong or she comes out looking like a leather couch with dick lips, it's all good.
