It's not an "adult magical anime", just a parody of the mahou shoujo genre, and plays into "otaku" culture.
Watched it in...2003, back when it became hugely popular for a brief period of time. Very funny.
I actually haven't seen it, but it's been on my list of things to see for a while. I could tell it was a bit adult oriented, what with all the jiggling busts and whatnot.
