The Game Recommendation Thread
Just got your latest paycheck, or maybe you got some money for your birthday but just don't know in what game to spend your money on? You can use this thread for the former. Maybe you think a game is great and just want to share it with the forum? Either way, suit yourself.
Just take in mind, that make sure you are descriptive as possible on what you're looking for or your suggestion.
Happy Posting. :)
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
Castle Crashers. Its a PSN/XBL download that costs 15 dollars only. So many unlockable characters, animal orbs and so many weapons to chose from. Plus the levels are awesome and very very funny.
Another one is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It looks phenomenal and the fighting system is way better than the last one. Downside is that now you can't double assassinate. Good thing is that now its way more expansive and Rome is HUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGEEEEE. Also the multiplayer can get pretty addicting. lol
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
Have a DS? Enjoy JRPGs? Get Infinite Space. I cannot recommend this game highly enough, the story is fantastic for it's scale and depth. You'll pour dozens of hours into this game and still want for more. A fantastic gem among DS JRPGs.

I heard the battle system is improved, and it's more like Arkham Asylum (and soon Arkham City). However it seems like Ubisoft might as well implement the same system Batman's game does, especially for allowing to counter 2 or 3 enemy combatants at the same time. Their close-range fights are all about rhythm, so both games would work great off the same battle system.
But yeah, I want Batman: Arkham City and MotorStorm: Apocalypse.
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
FPS fans, be prepared to be blown away by the most unique and awesomest game ever! Duke Nukem Forever is a game that EVERY FPS fan should try out, kick alien ***, drink beer, smoke cigarrs(spellfail) and take a toilet pause!
Duke Nukem is a hero of FPS, no one can match his badassery as he rips the head off of the alien and crap down their necks, and reflecting bullets with his balls of steel(haha), buy it now, or feel the heavy shaking when your limbs get's ripped apart.
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
If you like a nice thinking game (Professor Layton comes to mind), then pick up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It's got interesting characters, and awesome gameplay. Incredibly fun.
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
I just recently bought 3 games and I would recommend each of them. Here's the list:
NBA 2K11
Smackdown Vs. Raw 2011
Call Of Duty: World At War: Final Fronts
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
Get Halo Reach or Black Op
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
Well I think just looking at my avatar and signatures pretty much makes it obvious what game I'm going to recommend and yeah it's true.
ArmA 2 I just love this game...It's got more soldiers and classes than I can care to mention, it's perfect for the hardcore realism fps/rts/tps fans because it is actually a war simulator! The AI is intelligent and uses real life tactics properly and is a very human like and formidable threat. No running and gunning here! Proper team coordination is a must! The maps are huge and the game is 100% completely open and encourages making add ons for the game and it even comes with a outstanding map editor capable of creating any scenario even up to a entirely new campaign. As far as multiplayer goes I have yet to see ANY non serious noobish gamers, and even the noobs fit in because most of them have a understanding of tactical warfare and are always under the wing of a more experienced player. (A.K.A. Experienced Sniper takes Noob as his Spotter)
Each person plays a role and a important role in this game...There are 5 different armys, 3 sides, one of which is a independent side which can be allied to anyone or nobody based on their mood. There are just below 100 different vechicules in this game, each with a varient and the add ons you can download don't cease to continue to ''add on'' to that amount. From civilian bicycles to roaring the sky with a Russian SU-27 or maybe moving down the roads with a American HMMWV or if you fancy being a rogue soldier you could always be fighting for yourself as a Independent rifleman with a AKM!
This game is the most amazing game I have probably come across...So amazing I pirated the game and just because I liked it so much I deleted the pirated version and bought it with all it's expansions only a week after.

Hear, hear!
Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead are some of the best Sim FPS games that I have ever played. Those Czech game developers know how to make a good game !
With the amount of mission editing options and mods that Arma 2 has you will not get bored for a long time with it. Just make sure you have a decent PC to play this game.
Re: The Game Recommendation Thread
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit if you're a racing fan. Black Ops if you're a shooter fan.
