It's weird. I really didn't like that song. I find it annoying.
Same with the PS1/Saturn intro. I much prefer the more upbeat Mega/Sega CD version. It's much more..... late 80's/early 90's.

Yes... Even the Working Designs "Butchered" English version.

That was KICK-BUTT!!!!!! I have the Soundtrack for the Playstation "Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete" and wondered where that Song came from. Where can I get a Sega and that Version of the Game? I want to play the original!

ebay, craigslist, local mom and pop used game shops or whatever.
There's the emulation route too. Lunar 1 & 2 aren't on the cheap side of Sega CD games. They're not up there with the Space Adventure's and the Keio Flying Squadrons, but it'll take probably $50 or $60 to get complete copies of them or $20 or $30 just for the disc depending on how patient you are.

There are more, but I shall leave them for another time!

This forum has a spoiler function too, please use it.
People with little RAM will struggle to load this page when everyone posts 5 videos that's not in spoilers. Not everyone have 4-8 gb ram (I do, but I think of others ;) )
Oblivion theme:

Final Fantasy XIII - The Sunleth Waterscape (This theme is so beautiful)

Thanks for posting the Mega Man Songs, Mates!
Re: What are your favorite video game songs of all time?
Battlefield 2 - MEC Theme
Bastion - Build That Wall (Zia's Theme)
Bastion - In Case of Trouble
A lot of my favourites have already been mentioned, so here are some newer ones.
Also, I'd recommend pretty much everyone to pick up and try Bastion, that game is just so incredibly well made. Great story (the narrator in the game sounds amazing), fantastic soundtracks/graphical artstyle and fluid gameplay. Can not recommend this game enough :P

Re: What are your favorite video game songs of all time?
The first song that comes to mind is the Legend of Zelda theme song. There are a number of songs that I can think of that are close to favorite, but the Zelda theme song I think is my number-1 favorite.

Not too sure the "all time" favorite as it always changes, so I'll go with the current favorites or the ones I can remember, there's been so many over the years.
Ys Origin - Genesis Beyond The Beginning
Touhou Project: The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil - Lunar Clock ~ Lunar Dial
Tetris - Theme B

There's only two. Lunar: Silver Star, and then Lunar 2: Eternal Blue. Both were remade for the Playstation and Saturn. Then Silver Star was remade again for the GBA as Lunar Legend and then again for the PSP has Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star. With Silver Star on Sega CD don't worry too much if you find some without the standard Working Designs foil look to the manual and insert as that was the first game Working Designs started doing that too and the first print run didn't have the foil look. There's also like 8 different designs for the CD. Don't worry about that either unless there's one design you like over the others. I think a couple are bit more rare and might go for more because of that though.
We've really only officially gotten 3 of the Lunar games here. Silver Star and Eternal Blue in their various forms, and then Dragon Song for the DS that wasn't that great.
There were two others we never got. Lunar Walking School for the Sega Game Gear which has been fan translated into english and roms are floating around the Internet. Then there's also Magic School Lunar!/Mahou Gakuen Lunar! which was only for the Saturn and as far as I know still only in Japanese.

So if I want to play ALL "Lunar" Games, I need a Sega C.D., Sega Saturn, I have a Playstation 2, then I need a P.S.P., A Game Boy Advanced, and a Nintendo D.S. Okay ... I need a Job! @__@;;;

Or resort to emulation I guess. You're going to end up re-playing Silver Star a lot though as it was remade 3 times.
Re: What are your favorite video game songs of all time?
I seriously love the Rusty Hearts Opening
But I believe the Grand Chase Korean Opening is better~
