Last Album You Listened To?
It's really easy to listen to a single or two, but what's the last entire album you listened to, and what did you think of it?
Last one for me would have to be Cher Lloyd's Sticks + Stones. Really like her pop/rap mix, think it's a solid album throughout (with Superhero and Beautiful People my favorites of the bunch). Before that it was Carly Rae Jepsen's Kiss. It's about as full-on pop as you're gonna get, and Carly really doesn't have a strong voice, but she did an excellent job of crafting songs that fit her. Really liked it.

Wowaka - Unhappy Refrain (I deleted all the songs that were human and not VOCALOID >:C)
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
I last listened to an album called Oceania by The Smashing Pumpkins. It's a really good album in my opinion and I love it.
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Revisited 'Doolittle' by The Pixies recently. Love that album.
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Wild Execution, the album of songs that go with the manga Wild Adapter and corresponding OVA with a long title that's something along the lines of "Araiso Private High School Student Council Executive Committee." All of the songs are sung by Toshiyuki Morikawa and Hideo Ishikawa, and their voices match really well. The first half was all right, but I didn't like it as much because the songs were a little more rowdy and I liked the calmer ones better. Definitely some interesting song titles in there, too...

Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Hm.....I believe it was Imaginaerum by Nightwish. Very good! I went through a very long phase of not listening to them because I was a bitter fangirl for their first singer, Tarja Turunen, but this album (Scaretale specifically) got me out of it and loving them again! It's just a shame Anette's (Anette Olzen, their last singer) gone now, too. Wonder who their next singer will be...
Oh and might I add that this album actually has a movie to go with it that I would kill to see, but alas, it was only released in Finland and I live in the U.S. >.<

The last album I listened to was Dear Science by TV on the Radio. It never gets old for me.
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
The last album I listened to- really listened- was UK's Danger Money. Nice song about a hitman to open up the album.
Got to admit, though, the first album is better, and not merely because of Bruford.
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Free from Twin Atlantic. New Scottish rock group with a pretty catchy single. Well not all that new but new to me at least.

Dramatis Personae by The Clockwork Dolls. Such a wonderful album! <3 They are fantastic storytellers. For example...
This.

(III) by Crystal Castles. I could listen to this album on repeat for days without growing tired of it. There's a few tracks (Plague, Affection, and Kerosene) I often listen to while drawing. Overall, a very inspiring album.

Love Letters From the Electric Chair by Izzy Cox.
Even a few years after discovering it, it's still one of my all-time favorites. All hail the queen of the murder ballad! :p
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Walk The Moon - Walk the Moon
Tight Rope EP - Walk the Moon
I can't get enough of this band. I first listened to these albums a few months ago, and I have probably listened to both of them at least once every week since then.
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Yunagi Loop - Sakamoto Maaya

I have to say, my wife knows her chillout. This is a nice mixed journey, smooth synaesthetic beats purring soothing feeling into your head. Luscious.

The last full one, I think, was Moksha by Utsu-P
Re: Last Album You Listened To?
Last whole album I listened to was Todd Rundgren's Utopia, Utopia's 1974 debut album.
The fourth and final track, a 30-minute dwarfer called The Ikon that halves the next longest song, keeps getting in my head, so I have to listen to the entire album to get all that album continuity (I don't know what to call it. Closure?).
Listened to it this morning. I know I'm gonna have to hear it again soon, but I don't want to wear it out so quickly, so I'm putting it off with The Ikon Radio on Pandora.
It really is a great album, and some of the best stuff I've heard... like ever, pretty much.
