Regex, is that on a clean day? My parents would kill me if they saw that!
I dont really do the resolutions thing <.<
As for my oldest system...probably my N-64 and the dreamcast. I also have one of the big black-n-white gameboys =3
Sowwy Whispy ;_;
And i got yelled at by the house case worker because my computer had too many wires >< She's just a freaking retard.
And i know Wizzy is lieing >< (i just saw what wizz said ><) :banghead:
Neither have I <_< I'm a cheapskate like Wizzy.
:p You both better be sorry!
Lighten up Wizz, im only kidding <3
Anyway, What have you guys been reading lately?
Those cords brought back fond memories of when I used to work in the A/V dept during college. Love it! :D
My New Year resolution is to be healthier. I've had some funky health stuff going on lately and I want to try to manage them better.
I was reading "guns, germs, and steel" but had to put it down. I have been spending most of my time finishing knitting presents. >.<;
I am constantly in the middle of several books at once ^^; Bit of a bad habit, I know...but I DO usually finish all of them.
Currently I'm working on: The Dragons of Eden: Speculations on the Evolution of Human Intelligence by Carl Sagan (little dry, but interesting), An Anthropologist on Mars by Dr. Oliver Sacks (I thought his book The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat was superior but, again, an interesting read), and random stories from these books of fairy tales I've had for years (I'm a closet fairy tale fanatic ^^;;; Darker the better...).
Hm...I don't know any of Lovecraft's book's ;_;
Oh well. Anyway, let's see if i can come up with a really good question so i can get some rep points...
Question:
Out of all the book's you've read over you life times, Who would be your favorit author and why.
(not a really good question, but it stay's on topic at least ^_^; And i still want those SG1 episodes Aaron :p)
Oh wow, good question! I like the classic political, philosophy, and sociology reading. Plato, Aristotle, Marx, Kant, Locke, etc etc. If I had to pick one author, it would be Plato. We have a love-hate relationship consisting of 1 semester devoted to The Republic. Although I have been out of college for awhile, my books still have a special place on the shelf in my new home.Quote:

i dont do new years resolutions because everytime i do it never works like i'll be like " i will get signed by the end of the year by hellcat " and then the end of the year will come and go. and then like, i'll make a resolution to find love, and it wont work. or i'll make a resolution to do something that's impossible.
i need to stop making resolutions. i hope i dont make one this year. lol
B.F. Skinner... Waldon Two is really good. Peter S. Beagle, who wrote the book The Last Unicorn. Those are probably the only two books I have which are highlighted underlined and well used...
While thought provoking is nice, I'm always a sucker for a love story.
man i didnt know there was that many moderaters well hello to all of yall
Hello to you too!
Love story? Ever read "The Awakening" by Kate Chopin?
So the mods are really human, eh? Darn, there goes my theory on interstellar genetic mutation. I was hoping for a nobel prize, too.
Anywho, since I'm in the neighborhood, just thought I'd stop by and see who the mods are before I take over the forums. However, that's a longterm goal, and I'm still in the planning stages of your demise. For now let's just settle for an interroga-er-few questions.
1. Aside from your current living quarters, if you could live anywhere within our galaxy or world(whichever works for you), where would that be?
2. Besides me, who's the one person you look up to the most?
3. Are you a morning person?
4. What are you getting me for Christmas?
5. If a genie gave you three wishes, what three wishes would you make?
6. If you could change one thing about the forums, what would it be?
7. What is your dream vacation?
Oh, and since I'm conforming with your forum's strange customs: Hello, nice to meet you.
You should read Rip and Teri! It's a love story, a spy story, and a thought-provoking story all at once. I love it. Short enough to read in one sitting, too.
1. Aside from your current living quarters, if you could live anywhere within our galaxy or world(whichever works for you), where would that be?
I'd stay on Earth, thanks. I like where I live, although I'm none-too-pleased with the current politics and economics of the country.
2. Who's the one person you look up to the most?
Hm... tough question. I look up to my parents a lot, and... the forum admins are really cool people too. Mina and Ace, you know some day we have to meet, right? :D
3. Are you a morning person?
Hahaha, oh God no. I'm so incapable of waking up early that my first period teacher never marks me late... because I'm late every day. He expects it. Usually I feel rather cranky when I wake up, too.
4. What are you getting me for Christmas?
NOTHING!
5. If a genie gave you three wishes, what three wishes would you make?
- To be a harder worker (I am laaazzzyy)
- a lot of money (of course)
- I'll save the last one for an emergency.
6. If you could change one thing about the forums, what would it be?
Bring back some of the older members. I know it's annoying to hear older members whine and moan about the good old days, but I really miss some of those people.
7. What is your dream vacation?
Just to go globetrotting.
Oh, and since I'm conforming with your forum's strange customs: Hello, nice to meet you.
You sound like me. I'm usually dead to the world in the morning, and I have math first period.
I would've just settled for socks, even pencils. I'm not too picky you know, as a matter of fact, I'm the easiest person to shop for. You should feel very bad right now...I mean it...you had better be feeling bad. :<Quote:

Always nice to meet another Avatar fan. :P
