December Contest : Let it snow!! (w/ guest judges!)

Hey all! Sorry that this is a bit late. My work gave me a bunch of hours after I got home.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it...

Make a snowy wallpaper! Your wallpaper must have a noticable amount of snow/snowflakes on it.

 

I know, there is no snow in the southern hemisphere now. My Kiwi fiance already got on me about it!

Due date: December 31st.
Wallpaper size: at least 1024x768; larger and widescreen is ok!
file size: please keep it reasonable. ;)
Only 1 per person! :D

For this contest, seeing as it is the last one on the AW.com forum, I asked a very special person to help judge. Our special judge is veteran member... Ownerizer! After the Dec 31 deadline, people's choice voting will be opened.

This just in! I was able to snag another vet to be a guest judge! Helping out myself and Ownerizer with the judging is the adorable, cuddly... Eternal Blue! So get those wallpapers in!

This is awesome! I had just finished this Fruits Basket wallpaper about a week ago. I can't believe it fits the contest requirements perfectly. I have to work a lot over the holiday weeks and wasn't sure I'd get to enter the contest, but I guess it's my lucky day. The wally is 1024x768.

here is my wallpaper for the contest. I am not completely happy with the result and I don´t know if it is enough snow to go with the contest theme but since I won´t have time to work on it until after the contest deadline I submit it anyway. :p

That's enough snow. I can see it, I can tell it's snow, so it's fine. Thanks for entering already! Remember, you CAN change the wallpaper at anytime until the deadline.

I am definately going to try, I have the scan picked out, and the bg designed in my head, I just am a bit busy. I was in chicago most of last week, I'm home thursday and today, then I fly to florida to spend the holiday with my parents tomorrow. Hopefully I will have time to do something in there >.< sorry if I don't.

This is getting me into the spirit. Japan is a bit on the warmish side today. Though I did get free beer today while I was shopping for stuff for Xmas dinner. I wish I always got free beer whenever I go grocery shopping.

Remember, this is the last contest that will be in the AW.com forum! After this one, the contests will be hosted in Dazzle Me. More info on that when it comes!

Also, the resoultion for this wallpaper is 1152x864. If anyone wants a 1024x768 version, send me a PM. I know that sounds kind of cocky >_> but I think it looks pretty and some people may want a smaller resolution. ^_^

Sorry if this is late, I just got it done. Not only was I out of town, but I've also caught a nasty bout of the plague. I'm really sorry that I couldn't get this in sooner, but I'm dying.
