A promised dream

Ok first off I'd like to thank Tsuki for helping me. She told me to write so I did. hope you like it

I know you're waiting for me
Silently, holding back the tears from falling upon your face
I know it must hurt
Longing for someone you love to return to you
I wish I could ease this pain that you're feeling
Yet, I can not
I can't bear to face you
You told me countless times that its ok,
That its ok to be afraid and that you will be waiting for the time when I'm ready
Idiot...
That word plays repeatedly within my mind
I'm such an idiot
Why am I afraid to return your feeling of love?
Why am I not strong
Why am I not the man that is portrayed when you see me
I don't deserve you
That much I know now
Yet, I can't bear to lose you to someone else
Please, I want to be that man that you see
I want to return the feelings of love to you
Please I want to become the man of your dreams

Another poem from you, and its just as great as your other one, but this one is even better. It has a nice flow to it and I understand it very well. Your not so bad at poetry you should continue to write more.

Tsuki, he might be right, everyone has something that inspires them, whether it be a person, or an object, a part of history, or a book that had been read. I enjoyed your poem slash story. A confused heart was behind it, wasn't it? Lovely as your writting is, I hope to find more that you have written, my great nephew. ^_^

Hmm...i think it was nicely imagined and put into words. The idea and the meaning behind it , was really sweet and somehow with full of power that you wanna be that guy for her ...^^

Thank you, really it was something I wrote for my friend when she was feeling down. I'm glad you liked it and hopefully I'll find something else to write about
