Hey girly~ I suggest using a wood texture of some sort to make it seem a little more realistic. If that is what you want, of course.
Yeah, though I feel it's too heavily reliant on stocks already.. >.>
But actually getting real wood textures may have to just happen. Will consider, thanks :3
Even if it have too much stocks there, but if it helps out, then it helps out. hehehe
Things have to coordinate with one another so when you browse around and find something that is a possible candidate for your wallpaper, use it and see if things will work out or not. ^_^
I changed it to a wood texture, here is the result.. I still think it needs more.. Maybe some more foreground and background... Will further ponder on ideas.
It looks really "flat" in overall, maybe add something to the front like some "tangly" things to give it some more depth?
I think it would be awesome to have things in jars like butterflies, fireflies, lady bugs, etc to give more to the idea of being trapped
Okay, a problem I see is that everything is kind of realistically different. The girl is anime, the cage is more 3d dimensional, the jars and other effects are kind of water color-like (they're items on white backgrounds).
Also, the perspective of the boards she's lying on are off. They should be coming closer together the farther away they are from us.
I think you should decide stylistically what you want. You might want to find a cage that look kind of like your render, or try and make the 3d cage less defined. I would also suggest putting the cage behind the girl. When I look at a wallpaper, I usually look into the center, and you have a little crack of negative space there. So putting the cage there will help on 2 fronts, it will create a little more depth, and give you more space on the right to throw in things like birds, or whatever.
Also, if you are looking for ideas on where to take this further, think about where she is in this. Bedroom, castle, fantasy setting? Will help decide more things to add in or change.
